When you are ready to do a oil change, first add a can of EPR to the old engine oil in the vehicle. Run the engine at 1200 rpm's for 15 minutes. Turn off engine and then continue with the oil change as you normally would.

I noticed on my recent order of EPR that the date one the bottom of the can has expired- does it hurt the cleaning performance?

The date on the bottom of the can is the production date, not the expiration date

How do you know if you have heavy sludge in your engine? My valves look clean and I change my oil often. 176K miles on the truck

I noticed my dodge ram 1500 155k miles has sludge in valves when I replaced my intake manifold gasket. Unless you are the first owner and most of those miles are highway, you shouldn't have much sludge or carbon build up.

My car only have 56000 miles on it , can i use the 109 on my engine?

Yes. Absolutely. My BG rep. states and I quote"if you really wanted to you could use it every oil change beginning at 5,000 miles. I only really recommend it every 15,000 though in my experience
