Excellent product, lots of add one available. Took less than 20 mins to install basics. But... Pick your service package from the start, for me upgrading caused glitches. Staff sorted it and were incredibly helpful and technically sound. Also cameras a bit harder, needs a smartphone app, and be sure to have them near the base station to pair with system before installing, and definitely check for software updates before installing them. If you do these then they are quite impressive. You need a good WiFi signal and you will need to charge the internal outdoor batteries for about 8 hours. Night vision and sensors for movement really decent. We have 4 cats and they have not set off the ir sensors at all yet, but watch the settings and placement, the instructions are clear and sensible. Handy chime when alarm off to announce protected doors etc being opened, internal camera has privacy shutter for "at home" setting. Lots of optional plug ins, including smoke alarm, water leak and temperature sensors and panic buttons. If twinned with full service package the security staff can (with your consent) check the cameras, spot the problem and direct correct emergency services having confirmed real incident. Also nice to be able to check cameras from the app, and get alerts of motion etc to check complete with video clips. Had a laugh at a helpful Amazon delivery driver who left parcels in the waterproof cat house pod in the garden and clearly found the cat "pod" highly amusing.

I'm very happy with system easy to install and affordable

This seems like a really decent bit of kit with lots of things included and meets our needs well. It was so easy to set up and everything seems to be working really well up to now. It really does seem like a great product and we are pleased we got it (so far!) However, there are SO MANY hidden costs and I don’t think these are set out very clearly at all. The basic plan is pretty much useless to anyone who is buying this so you need to get the premium one but then you also will be liable for additional costs if a guard is called out and need to call to opt out of this. I guess that most systems have these subscription fees etc but they just aren’t all that clear and I do think it preys on people’s insecurities and lifestyles a bit by making the features you actually need part of the premium subscription.

Fantastic system that’s very easy to install, no issues with battery life after 6 months. Very easy to connect and no loss of connection. Alarm triggers consistently with motion / door openings. Makes my family feel very safe.

Easy to set up with plenty of removable double sided tape locations on each device/sensor. Really easy to synchronise all device/sensors on entry pad. Suggest you place all sensors before starting synchronise as it lists each and everyone really quickly,made me rush around a lot. Alarm is a doodle to work,instructions are clear and concise. And instead of a very annoying beeping that gets faster as you are trying to leave as on ADT you get a minute countdown instead. The bargain of the pack is the camera,good quality and live on mobile even when I am out at work. The only downside to it all is that you only get 1 motion sensor per order. I have 2 entrances so it cost me £30 to get another one. The 13 pack order would have had too many unused items to be viable.

It’s a great system, easy to setup but it’s constantly disconnecting from the wifi then connecting back. This keeps happening every five minutes at times and is frustrating with the notifications on my phone. Took the month free with the top package of £25 but personally I don’t recommend it. Nothing wrong with my internet. If I could return for a refund I would. UPDATE I’m only 12 days into my free month and have been charged £25!! Absolute shocking service.

Have had an old, wired system for years. A relic from another age. Saw a review on the SimpliSafe system and decided to go for something much more modern. Really impressed with the system so far. Easy to install. The packaging/branding is awesome (I’m a Designer so always hyper-critical about that kind of thing). The support is really top-notch. The SimpliCam was a little glitchy for the first couple of days but I think I’ve found the best WiFi settings for it now and it seems to have settled down. Like I mentioned, the items included in the system look stylish and modern, and the app is clean, and simple to use. Back to the support. Called up on my first day using the system and requested my 1 month Free of the Pro subscription. Was told it would be added. It wasn’t. Called support the next day a little upset and the lady there apologised for the mistake and gave me 2 months Free as a way of saying sorry. That’s how you do customer support right! Really impressed with that kind of support. Great product. Even greater support.

I got the system after a series of break ins in my area. The window/door sensors are particularly reassuring and its great that you can set the system to "Home" mode to ensure you are safe even whilst at home - all external sensors are activated but not the internal motion sensors. You can customise the system to your own needs with multiple different sensors and camera add ons. I haven't used tha camera as I already have other camera's set up so can't comment on the quality of the camera feeds or night vision.
