This is about "KZ ZSN Pro X" in-ear headphones. These buds exceeded my expectations. What I love the most is that the frequency response is very balanced, it does not appear to have anything boosted or muffled. The highs are crisp and clear, the lows are silky smooth with just enough of a "boom" to keep things sensible. I am listening to 24bit 96khz hi-res classical music and can hear everything there is to hear. Nothing collides, any detail that is in the recording, it is reproduced by these earbuds. I am using these buds with LG V60 phone which is a hands down the best audiophiles phone right now and these buds makes it even more so evident. So if you are looking for in-ear buds to use wit some kind of high end portable audio player, these earbuds should be considered. Since the cable on the phones is detachable it is available with or without an in-line microphone. I happens to bought the microphone option. The microphone option is pretty inexpensive and so the microphone is just a minimum to make phone calls. It does not even offer vol+ vol- buttons. The cable itself is a jewelry and looks high end which is fitting the buds performance. Other perk of KZ ZSN family is that you can also order a Bluetooth cable replacement. This turn the wired earbuds into linked wireless. The BT cable features LDAC and AptX HD codec, it is not quite a replacement for the wire, but the option is there and it is a quality option at that. I am attaching a pic with that (but to be clear this needs to be purchased separately). Going back to the earbuds, they have a shape that fits the ear and basically disappears in it. The included 3 sizes of rubber tips are pretty regular, but if fit right, provide good outside noise blocking, but you still can hear small sounds around you if you do not have anything playing. The cable has an over the ear rigid loop which keeps the buds in place even during physical activities. I have replaced the included tips with T500 memory foam as that feels more comfortable in my ears and blocks the outside noise just a little better. By the way, these are not noise canceling earbuds. Active noise canceling is probably not what you want if you want to hear every detail available in the piece of music you are listening anyway. All in all, I am extremely happy with the buds, they have exceeded my expectations, not sure why they are priced under $25, they can compete with just about anything in my opinion. I can not find any cons apart from that they should have included some memory foam tips instead of the usual rubber ones.

Only after owning these for three years did I sit down and compare them to my expensive headphones. I was surprised to discover these sound way better than anything else I own, including much more expensive headphones. Before going on, I'd like to say: get the X variant. It's worth it. Do it. I got both, and there's a big jump in sound quality. For the same price, why would you sacrifice the rich bass and clearer treble? Key points: Sound quality is subjective, but if you like big bass and bright treble, get these. If you prefer something that doesn't colour the sound, then maybe try something else. The middle is still present, but perhaps less prominent. Despite the dip in the mids, these earphones produce sound in all ranges with excellent clarity. As I said at the beginning, I tested the KZ ZSN Pro X earphones side by side with a variety of others (prices as of August 2024): -Sony MDR-7506 headphones ($98): clear, even/balanced. -AKG K 240 MK II headphones ($97): flat/even, somewhat dull. -AKG 518DJ headphones (discontinued): bassy, but lacking a bit in the high end. -KZ ZSN Pro ($24.99): a bit too much on the high end (bass is just weak in comparison), but they're perfect for listening to spoken voice, such as in phonecalls. -KZ ZSN Pro X ($24.99): rich bass, clear mids, crisp highs. Overall, the KZ ZSN Pro X earphones are my favourites. I'm a musician and audiophile, but not a purist or fanatic. I can't back my opinions up with science. These just sound great to my ear. Final notes on choosing ear-/headphones: -compare side by side with the same music and (decent) equipment (hardware and software), and at the SAME VOLUME (louder usually sounds better, but it's an illusion... don't be fooled). -ensure good fit: loose buds will ruin your experience (and replacement silicone rubber tips could actually improve the sound more than you'd expect, just like replacement the worn out ear pads on my headphones made a huge difference). -expect diminishing returns: more expensive gear quickly yields shrinking, incremental improvements (don't expect an amazing bump in quality, even at 4 times the price). -take care of your gear and it will last: I haven't done a great job (see the photo), but they're still humming along... if you're just a little careful and maybe keep them in a bag or case, you'll get years of sonic pleasure out of them. Get these... and enjoy your music!

Pros Incredibly Clear Sound Will Never Fall Out Wraps Behind Ear Long Cable Look Good Stupid Low Price to Performance Cons Buzzing Sound When Not Playing a Game or Video Wired 0 Bass Without Adjustment They sound amazing. I've never had headphone or earbuds that made music so clear. I've heard sounds in songs I never heard before that I have listened to for 30 years. I have only ever had one pair of earphones that didn't fall out of my ears. This is the 2nd set. That don't come out without me taking them out which is helped by them wrapping around the back of the ear which you won't even notice. They have literally 0 bass out of box. Turns out IEM are made that way so if you want some bass, you'll need to download a free equalizing software to adjust it. I think I used something called Peace. The fact that they are under $30 and seemingly will last years and years. You can't go wrong. If someone let me use them for 20 minutes and asked me to guess how much they cost, I would probably say at least $75 and probably be underestimating. The buzzing sound. It's not very loud, but you will hear it if you aren't listening to anything. It isn't a big deal because you don't hear it when actually listening to something. Just when your not. Like on your desktop or using photoshop. Apparently IEM are so high quality they hear the frequency your system is running at, or something along those lines. If that isn't a turn off for you, buy them.

Awesome sound, very clear sound, mic works great, the fit is excellent with all the pads you’re given for inner ear, I use them for gaming and they’re on par with several hundred dollar headsets.

these are the kind of in ear monitors that cut off outside sound and really open up the soundstage of any song. Will make you hear parts of songs you didn't hear before, the design is something to get use to and do look more like hearing aids but its a small price to pay for the sound quality. The earbuds themselves are detachable and genuinely make them go further just having to buy new cables in the rare event ive had to replace them from ware.

I have been ordering and trying multiple $20-$35 IEM style earbuds. I've been trying to stick to the dual-driver types, and some are definitely better than others. Here's my assessment of these KZ's: - Sound Quality : So far the best of the $30 IEMs. HF extension is impressive and sounds good. LF extension is really good. They still have a little "bite" in the 2-5KHz range which is normal for all of them. These are a serious 2-3dB louder sensitivity than many of the others. Overall big thumbs up. - Fit : The shape of the over-hear part of the wire fits really well. The ear buds are shaped well, and everything feels secure. - Function : I prefer the other type of cable, the limp braided style. This one just doesn't lay as limp as the others. I really like these. I would recommend.

I have been only been able to test the headphone part, the sound is very good for the price. I am yet to test the Mic. A bonus feature I did not expect is the non-tangle wires. It makes a huge difference. I wish I could get a few more for my other wired headphones/earphones. I'll add the mic test once I am able to use it. The earpieces blocked off a lot of the external noises at my gym, though I don't know if there is "noise cancellation." I will be testing again with a smaller and more comfortable pair of the earpieces. The only issue I have with these sorts of headsets is changing the earpieces. I wish all these manufacturers found a stress-free method to put on and replace the rubber/silicone covers for the earpieces. If there is a hack, I wish someone would enlighten me.

I've bought multiple pairs of these and have 2 sets sitting in my desk for future needs. Each family member has a set. I use them all day, virtually every day, for phone calls, for listening to music, and more. I'll even use them at night to play white noise to drown out sounds as I try to sleep. Other family members use them to varying degrees, all of us with the same time until end of life for each component. Sound quality is great with good bass. the wrap around the ears for the cable is convenient. and the mic is decent for conversations, in the wind the mic has to be cupped and held close to the mouth, but other than that, it's been smooth sailing as far as functionality. when they're not broken. Each set of ear buds (not the cord/cable) lasts about 2 to 2.5 years, give or take. Which is an excellent deal for the price. IF it wasn't for the cords/cables. the cords life ranges from 3 to 8 months maximum. they start out soft and flexible but the rubber coating on the wires becomes brittle with exposure to light. then, usually near one of the curves for the ear, the wire start breaking and shorting out. That isn't horrible, given the extent that I use them, except for the fact that a replacement cord is currently impossible to find. When they could be found, they cost easily 70% the price of a complete set. and these were designed to be able to replace the cord! from family use I have multiple ear buds with broken cables. previously we would buy new cords, but they haven't been available for some time now. given the waste caused by the cord, it is less expensive in the long run to get a good quality set from one of the major players, than it is to continue to support this product.

Extremely GODLY EARPHONES ABSOLUTELY DOMINATES AT ITS PRICE POINT. It's frequency response is slightly on the higher end aka all the vocals are crisp af. If you're an gamer (footsteps are accurately represent and loud.its directional audio is just amazing for the price.) or like some kind of professional like youtuber which requires decent gear to get started this is probably your best earphone/headset you need. Mic is absolutely amazing, that's is unless you have a fan pointing directly at your mic,mic isn't the best at cancellation of fans blowing into it but it does are really wonderful job of getting your voice to the other end in HD quality if you're using volte, The dual dynamic drivers are just godlike at the price. You can run this out of basically anything, it's low power but offers decently high fidelity sound quality, This earphones can be modded aka add new and aftermarket colourfull cables and get some after market op eartips. The one that you get in the box are okok but to get the best out of this earphone I recommend you to get a better and softer silicone ear tip. Also it ships with a cute carry pouch it's CUTEEE LOL not to mention 4 pairs of silicone eartips People saying it probably gonna last 6 months only but that's not the case. That's gonna happen only if you use this earphone like a rope to hang some clothes, tbh NO-ONE on earth really gonna do that even if your cable SOME HOW goes bad just get a new one from amazon, gold plating goes, get a new cable,rat cuts ur cable , just replace it, cable vanished in thin air, get a new cable it's ez to fix, this earphone is modular AF. Surprisingly good passive noise cancelling, the over ear cable design really helps take the weight off. The physical design is excellent, that gold part of the housing is a lovely brushed metal, and the plastic has been done well too. Doesnt look tacky at all. Sound quality is excellent, brilliant soundstage and actual quality, very crisp. They are a bit cheaper so there's elements of just bumping up the bass and top-end, but done tastefully and its well balanced. Cant fauly these on anything, if you're here from Dankpods' recommendation like I am, it's well-deserved. These are excellent headphones at a fraction of what people could be paying for them. Insanely good deal to get here.

They are made well. No issues with hearing or being heard. However, the mic is very sensitive and if you wear a jumper with a zip, there will be a scratchy noise come through the mic. Not a deal breaker.

Nothing to dislike about the earphones if you bought nit only to listen with them but if you have bought them like me with a microphone well then you will be very disappointed. Microphone is basically non existent or broken I am not sure which is it as I can not get my microphone to work at all, it only spills the audio sound to the microphone I am unfamiliar with this problem. Earphones are amazing for music and movies but do not buy them just because it has a microphone would be my suggestion.

I bought this product after it was recommended by the YouTube channel "Dankpods" and I have no regrets. IEMs are my least favourite type of headphones but I still love these. The sound quality is excellent, not just for the price but in general these are great. Audio through these is very detailed with very clean sounding bass & sub-bass and a crispy top end (in a good way). The low and high frequencies sound slightly enhanced but it's done tastefully and I really enjoy it. Probably not great as reference headphones but that's not why I got these. For reference, I can't afford any real audiophile gear and the most expensive headphones I own were £40, I try to get the best value products for my money and these are exactly that. If the best headphones you own are a gaming headset or the ones that came with your phone then you need to buy these. You can listen to your favourite songs and notice sounds/instruments that you've never heard before. I've spoken a lot about the sound itself but what about everything else? Appearance: They look well made and I really like the design. They look like the pictures. Build quality: They feel solid without being particularly heavy. It's put together well and I really like that the cable is replaceable. Comfort: This is the only factor I don't love. They're not uncomfortable, but they're not very comfortable either. No issues for shorter listening sessions but they start to irritate my ears a bit after a couple of hours. This could just be me though and I didn't get these for long gaming sessions or binge watching so it's not really a problem. For an album or a few YouTube videos they're fine. Cable: The cable is good but hooked bits that go around your ears can easy become tangled. I wouldn't say this is a mark against the headphones though as it's inherent to that particular design. Not much cable noise either so fine for a walk or doing things around the house. Noise cancelling: No ANC but that's expected for the price, because the ear plugs are good quality and fit well they still block lots of noise.
