Excellent Machine and Just What We Needed!
Our house is roughly 2/3 carpet and 1/3 hardwood floors. We also have two cats (certainly not nearly enough to be considered overrun, even less a feline rescue home), and those two little darlings track litter. Lots of litter. Between times hauling out our heavy vacuum, Iโve been using a cordless car vac to collect all the little white grains of litter off of the hardwood. Well, our daughter-in-law recently visited, saw me with the car vac (immediately took over), and enthusiastically recommended this cordless Shark upright. She extolled how great it is in cleaning floors, how Iโd love the cordless feature, and how much better it would be for me to not be using the car vac. She was absolutely correct. I love this vacuum! Itโs quiet, holds its charge for roughly 40-45 minutes, is easy to maneuver, and most important, takes care of all the kitty litter along with dust and cat hairs. The rotating blades are very efficient and seemingly act to leave the floors looking like theyโve been polished. Itโs not exactly what Iโd call lightweight , but itโs not too burdensome. It took me awhile to study the manual (which was easy to print off the internet), but the various attachments, filters, and modes of operation are pretty much intuitive. Iโve found I can do the entire hardwood floors 3X on one charge, and Iโve easily taken apart and cleaned the bin and filters each time the vacuum has needed recharging. Based on the manual, that frequency is unnecessary, but I like to keep the vacuum as clean as possible. I have only two minor complaints which do not detract from the 5 star rating: 1) I wish the battery charge indicator light were placed on top rather than on the side so that itโd be easy to glance at while the vacuum is in use. As it is, I know generally when Iโm close to running out of power, but the end has also come as a surprise (and it always comes without warning). A visible, low power warning light would be helpful in timing more closely what specific areas to clean first; and 2) the HEPA filter doesnโt lift out on ours. The instructions I read and the Shark Company video I watchedโalong with other videosโshow it just lifting out easily. Ours is clearly not moving. It doesnโt appear by any stretch as if itโs put in crooked, but itโs not budging. I figure when the time comes for cleaning it, Iโll have to take it to a vacuum repair shop, as Iโm not about to force it loose. BTW, Iโve not used this vacuum on carpets. I know itโs supposed to work well on any flooring, but our carpets have a deep pile and I figure the Shark would lose power quickly in that environment plus the standard upright vacuum we have does an excellent job. The Shark has its established niche in my cleaning routine and itโs a very welcome addition!

Perfect Vacuum โ So Good I Bought It Twice!
This is my second time purchasing this vacuum, and I couldnโt be happier. I originally bought a different model in-store thinking Iโd try something new, but it just didnโt compare. After a few frustrating uses, I went straight to Amazon to find the same vacuum I had beforeโand thankfully, it was still available! Itโs reliable, powerful, and easy to use. I love how well it handles pet hair and everyday messes without losing suction. The design is simple but effective, and itโs clear this vacuum was built to last. I wonโt be straying againโthis is my go-to from now on! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dependable vacuum that gets the job done right.

Lightweight, Cordless, Easy to Charge
(Review based on comparison to corded Shark Duo Clean) Best feature: Cordless! Easy to move from room to room for a whole-house clean. ๐๐ It has a similar waste bin as my other shark model and similar filters. Main difference is that this one has an air filter similar to a car air filter that will need changed eventually. That was a little disappointing because I don't like having to buy new filters all the time, but this one looks like it won't need changed for a long time. (Fingers crossed).๐๐ The "Under furniture" feature is pretty nice and easy to use.๐ As you can see in pictures, the base is smaller and it doesn't grip at the front at all, so you have use the crevice tool for edges.๐ It has a light, but only on the base. The other shark model had the light on the engine so that you had visibility even when using the stick/attachments. That was disappointing too.๐๐ It is very lightweight and easy to use.๐ Can easily transition between carpet and hard flooring. ๐ Easy charging (battery is removable). ๐ Overall it is a decent vacuum but I want all the filters to be washable/reusable and I want visibility/light for all modes of operation. Nonetheless, the value for this truly lies in the cordless feature and the easy waste bin use. This won't be replacing my old Shark Duo Clean entirely, but it has made it easier and faster to vacuum in a pinch.

Great vacuum
I did a lot of research and reading of reviews before purchasing this vacuum. The reviews were mixed and I took the risk - so glad I did! I was tired of lugging my standard heavy plug-in vacuum around the house (also a Shark vacuum) and always tripping on the cord and having to wrap it up when I was finished. I wanted something lightweight that I could easily take from room to room, as well as something that was powerful enough to pick up all the dog hair from my two dogs. When I first received this vacuum it worked 2 times before the battery died and wouldnโt work again. The vacuum/battery was defective. To say the least I was not happy, but thankfully I had kept the box and was able to make an exchange for a new one. Keep the box until your return date! I decided to give this same vacuum another chance because I really liked it when I first tried it. The new one came quickly and Iโve now been using it for several months. I absolutely love it and it has made the chore of vacuuming so much easier and more enjoyable. I have absolutely no complaints and glad I stuck with it. It works really well and manages to clean up all the pet hair. It also is great for hard to reach places and around furniture. The light at the front of the vacuum is a nice feature as it shows the dust and hair on the hardwood floors that I wouldnโt have seen without the light. Itโs easy to empty when finished and it can also fold in half for easy storage. I recommend giving this vacuum a shot if your looking for a cordless.

NOT pet friendly
UPDATE 2/23/26 I was contacted by Shark customer service. After almost 1 year from my initial contacting them they still acted like this flaw was "news" to them & ONCE AGAIN, they will forward this to their design team. Bottom line, they offered me a whopping 10% discount on a flawed product that they don't seem to have fixed. 10% off a product i already know doesn't work for the advertised purpose. Very generous. We'll i just ordered another Eureka vac. The Eureka works fine, but i literally wore the wheels off it. Worst vac ever for pet owners. Purchased in March 2025. Small rollers collect pet fur and are not removable for cleaning. Called customer service. They were very nice, but admitted it was a design flaw. I would hope they corrected this issue. Returned. Went back to Eureka vac which allows for removal & cleaning of those rollers. This is not a "pet friendly" design. Yes, the vac does have plenty of suction and appears to suck up floor debris & pet hair well. BUT, there is a serious flaw in the design of the small front rollers on the vac head. (See collage photo). Pet hair jams up the small front rollers causing them to no longer rotate on their axle. My old Eureka vac design made it easy to pop these out & remove the hair. Not this one!!! I can see no way of removing these without possible damage, and there is no mention (that I have seen) in supplied instructions. These small black rollers very quickly jam with, in my situation, cat fur. Once they jam, they stop rotating. Once they stop rotating, they just kind of skid along the tile floor and will soon develop flat spots & be useless. I don't have time to spend attempting to pick the fur out with small tweezers every time I service/clean the unit (which is often). All that said, If you have furry pets, maybe especially long haired cats, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I used my cheap Eureka until I literally wore the big rear wheels off it. Thought I was upgrading with Shark, but because of this issue, I am GREATLY DISAPPOINTED in this purchase.

Amazing Vacuum!
I am one of those who has been buying cheap vacuums for years, (under $100). None of them ever had very good suction and hardly lasted longer than a year or so, but that was the habit I was in. I recently moved into an apartment with wood floors and one large area rug... I also have a short-haired dog and there are two of us who have lots of hair on our heads. After carefully searching and comparing vacuums, I found this one meets all my needs. It's an "Amazon's Choice" and has mostly great reviews, which drew me in. Also, because Amazon lets me make monthly payments, it fits nicely within my budget, so I went for it. All I can say is I made a great decision. Right out of the box it was easy to snap together. I charged it for a few hours and then ran it over my area rug, which looked clean enough already. OMG... the amount of dirt and hair it pulled up was shocking. This vacuum is easy to use, maneuvers around corners nicely and picks up hard-to-get crumbs from dog treat that get embedded into the rug. It's small enough to fit through narrow spaces and and reaches a good distance under low furniture like my couch and coffee table. When not in use, it's standing against the wall, plugged into the charger. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to vacuum my entire apartment, so the charge isn't weak or wears out. This is definitely a must-have vacuum!! Satisfied buyer.

Great for long hair--but tiring to use because of weight in handle
I've had this vacuum a little while now and there are some pluses and minuses. Everyone will have things more or less important to them, but for me, the reason I bought a stick vac in the first place was so I didn't have to drag out the heavy canister vac every week and deal with the awkward hose and the cord that doesn't reach the whole house. The weight in the handle on this one is NOT a good feature and sort of makes it not worth it. Except for the self-cleaning roller brush. That might sway me the other way. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - My daughter and I both have long hair. It gets everywhere. Always tons wrapped around the roller brush on our other vacuum. But I looked just now and not a SINGLE hair wrapped around the machine roller brush. - Suction is good. - Battery life is good. I have yet to run out of battery when using it. - Light on the front (this is a pro or con, depending on whether you want to see the dust and pet hair it misses up against the baseboards). - The filter does not have to be cleaned every time you use it like my last one. - The head is very maneuverable (though I warn you this takes some getting used to--my table and chairs are not real excited about it at the moment). Cons: - All the weight is in the handle. This is extremely poor design and makes the vacuum just as exhausting to use (maybe even more because of the weird weight distribution) as the hose on the canister vacuum--so why did I spend $300+ on a cordless stick vacuum? What the heck were they thinking?!?! - There seems to be a very thick front edge on the head, which means you're not getting all the dust and pet hair right up against the baseboards---and the cruel little light lets you see it all! So you have to get out the crevice tool to go along every. Single. Baseboard. - Emptying the cup--first, I'm really not a fan of bagless. (Why would I want to dig all that stuff out of the cup with my fingers? Eeeuww. But there are no other options on cordless stick vacs.) - And second thing on the cup--I can't get the dang cup to open until I remove it from the vacuum. It's supposed to open while still attached, but mine will not. Emptying it ends up being a real hassle.

Great vac
This model has a removable battery with twice the power storage as the entry-level model, as well as the locking swivel in the handle. We have a 1250 sqft townhouse, mostly carpeted, and can vacuum the entire place on one charge, with a little charge to spare. Less battery would be a problem. Our son has the entry-level model and after trying it we were impressed with the lightness and power of the vac. We're glad we got the more-expensive model (even if twice the price seems excessive). Previous battery-powered vacuums we have owned were not up to the task. But a light, cordless vac is wonderful -- so much easier to use. The entry-level model doesn't want to stand upright on its own when in storage, it needs to be supported somehow. This model folds up and stores in the closet quite nicely.

Easy on back !!
It is so nice not to be fighting with an attached cord when you are cleaning. This vacuum has great suction and lasts 40 min on lower setting and about 35 min using both settings. Love it ๐ I do all wood floors on low and rugs too and then go back over rugs on high and I have enough time to do all in a 1350 sq ft apt.I have bad Arthritis and back and the flexible wand is a life saver as you don't have to bend down to do under furniture ๐ I have always had Dysons but this gets along the edge of woodwork better than any of Dysons and no cord is awesome.๐ I would highly recommend this vacuum as I love ,love love it !!๐

Finally a vacuum for pets
Finally found a vacuum tgat actually picks up all the fur no matter the type of flooring ( carpet or bare floor) AND no fur gets stuck in brushes AND no fighting with a cord. Love it! Battery could kast longer ( max 30 mins) but ok for my needs. Also like the flexible wand to get under furniture. Comparable to corded vacuum in terms of suction power. Nothing bad to say about this Shark aside from battery life and it's a little top heavy.

Pet pro with multiflex!! Yaaas!!!
I love this vacuum!! It is amazing with our husky hair!! I also love I donโt have to mount a charger to my wall, it just folds over anywhere. None of the hair gets caught although you do have to check behind the roller as some gets caught up there. I did a ton of research when choosing this one, itโs the only one that has the multiflex wand which is amazing, a hepa filter, the fins that donโt wrap hair, 20-45 min battery life, conversion to hand vac, and stays on without holding down a button. I did price comparison as well, Amazon is the only one that carries the pet pro with the multiflex wand in Canada currently. The others are just the pet pro, and trust me, you want this option!! Itโs so easy to get underneath everything without moving it, or getting in the floor!! So happy with this purchase! Will be buying a spare battery for the big clean days!
