It was a bit of work and a few YouTube videos to get the job done. I did only use a 3lb sledge to get it in. Here are some tips: 1. Mark the sides of the arm before you remove the old one with a paint pen or something 2. Use a hacksaw to cut out the old rubber, then use it to make 2 cuts about 1" apart at the bottom of the ring. Then you can simply knock it out 3. Ensure the smaller rubber area on the new one is upwards. 4. Clean and lube the area before install. 5. Take your time and tap in the new one. It helps if you can brace it on something. 6. Remember, if you have to remove the bolt on the cross arm at the front of the control arm (on the car body), make a note of the mark because if you mess up, you will need an alignment! Good Luck!

Keep in mind this is a labor intensive bushing to replace. I bought this special removal tool from Honda to avoid taking out the entire trailing arm but it was easier to just remove the arm and press the bushing out with a hydraulic press. That requires the entire disassembly of the drum brakes and more which I did not want to do but it made the installation of the bushing all the more feasible. As for the product, it's a perfect fit and good quality.

Perfect fit for 2000 Honda Civic SI(canada) . Made the trip to me extremely fast in a big box, ordered two. only took about 2.5 hrs to remove and replace both trailing arm bushings with no special tools, i used an old cv cup from my quad to hammer them in and out, same size cup as bushing. For the cost of two on amazon, i could of bought one at the cheapest store here in the city!

I changed my trailing arm broken bushings on my Honda civic 98. They worked perfect. Froze them overnight, got the special tool, a little accommodation and lubrication and they went in , smooth as butter. My car feels super strong in the back now. Like new. I highly recommend them. Moog is a reputable brand.
