It shows a great picture, even at night. The LEDs light up really bright! If you already have a similar unit, this one uses the same cabling. Mine was plugged and play. The last camera lasted 7 years, but the case got moisture in it so the outer lens fogged up. I hope this unit lasts just as long!

Rain has not broke it yet. Works well. I like the view angle. Easy to use and install. Color of pic looks good. Good price.

If your vehicle doesn't come with a rear camera, this is super perfect. I had my technician install it so I can't speak on level of ease to install but I can definitely say that this has been 100% reliable almost a year later of purchasing. Super clean video quality and once adjusted properly, very accurate. For night reversing, the lights along with the car's reverse light makes it super clear wha'ts going on behind the car.

It does everything as advertised. Easy setup for those with common sense. Instead of using the reverse light as power I ran power to the REM wire, and ground to the ground on my amp so the camera has power whenever the radio is on. The hardest part of installation was hiding the wires. My only issue is with the night vision. It's has a light sensitive trigger so it knows when to use the 9 LEDs brighter than my backup lights. The issue is when I turn on my lights my tag light makes the camera lights turn off. Other than that the camera does exactly the job I needed to.

Was time to upgrade. Had my old one for 2 cars and 25 years and the wiring just started to wear where it enters behind the license plate light (only available openings - not drilling), and the area was developing some rust from exposure. After making sure it wasn't the monitor, bought this one. Install was simple except where it has to run again behind the light. Repaired the rust area (sand/paint), replaced the gasket on the light housing, made a slightly larger hole on its side and applied silicone. For now it works, no friction, next spring, I'll make it better. Very nice reverse image, very sharp. Its a bit narrowed (the other had a wide view) but as long I can see what's behind me, its all good.

Bought a couple months ago and just got around to installing it and it didn’t work. Picture was split into 6 squares and black and white and fuzzy. Plugged in a different one I had and it worked fine.

I got this as a 'what the hell' kind of purchase when I realized the new head unit I was installing could support a backup camera. It's cheap, it works. The image is extremely washed out, but it shows what I'm backing up to, so it does what is required. The only real caveat is the wires of the supplied harness are very, very thin. i had difficulty soldring them because they were so thin. I am concerned they will break over time from simple vibration or rubbing. If this kit had sightly beefier wires it would get another star.
