Sewing Machine Light (36LEDs) Gooseneck Work Light with Magnetic Mounting Base, White Soft Light for Lathes, Drill Presses, Workbenches (2PACK)

This light is SO effective. The value for money is great considering you get two, and the brightness makes such a difference while sewing. It provides a really clear, bright light without feeling harsh on the eyes, and now that I have it, I genuinely can’t imagine sewing without it. The flexible neck makes it easy to position exactly where you need the light, which is especially helpful for detailed sewing work or darker fabrics. I am using this on a non industrial sewing machine, so the magnetic base doesn’t work for my setup. That said, the light itself is lightweight enough that I just taped it onto my machine with a bit of packing tape and it stays perfectly in place. Simple fix and still completely worth it. Such a good little upgrade for any sewing space.

Great light. Had to work with the placement to get the light where I needed it, but magnets are strong and the light is very bright.

Great magnetic lights! Most of my cheap power tools don't have lighting so these are great because I can leave them on or take them off and use them on other tools. Very simple operation, just plug and play. One switch to turn on or off. The neck is flexible so that you can direct the light onto just about any position. Nice bright, cool white color, low energy use, and long cord (4.5 feet). Overall great lights!

The light itself is great especially at its price. They provide good light for reading in bed, operating small machine that need concentrated light such as a drill press, band saw, small table router, bench grinder, or a sewing machine. I was delighted to find several self adhesive disks included in the package to use light on non-magnetic surfaces. Unfortunately, after 30 days of use, the disk lose adhesion. I did pre-clean rhe surface with alcohol. After the first failure, I removed the adhesive from the disks and applied 3M double stick tape in it's place. The results were about the same. About a month later the disk came loose. I'm at a loss. I don't want to use a permanent mounting solution such as a screw or super glue. The disks allow the user to move a single light to several locations. I could see buying another pair of these lights for use in other locations but only machines that are metal provide easy mounting surfaces. To use on non-magnetic surfaces such as my headboard, or shelving for audio/video equipment, or a nightstand or dresser, I need a removable magnetic surface that doesn't remove itself or damage the surface.

Great magnet and light BUT, it stopped working after minimal use after one year. It was not abused or heavily used, only when I used my lathe and needed extra light. Is there a warranty? Update March 23,2021: Contacted the company about their warranty since it stopped working after 12 months and before the 24 months. They responded quickly to my request and provided a very reasonable offer of replacement. This light is plenty bright for lathe, drill and bandsaw work, the magnet is super strong and the neck flexes to wherever you need it. With cord was 2 feet longer but I can deal with that. Would highly recommend and I plan to purchase more to place around the shop.

Def worth the $$$....strong magnet and the light is super brite.

I have used similar lights but these lights have more leds providing even more light They make the area around my sewing machine even brighter which improves the sewing experience

these lights are exactly what i needed for my Bernina and Juki industrial machines. the magnet attaches directly to the Juki, and i used the provided stick-on magnet for my Bernina. very happy with the results. the only small negative is the stick-on magnet is not terribly strong, so if i move the gooseneck, i need to hold the light base to prevent it from detaching.

Wow! I wish some of the people I know were as bright as these are!! :D But seriously.... They're great. Magnets stick really well, and they even include some adhesive metal discs if you wanted to say stick it to a spot that was plastic. Nice simple rocker switch on the base, decent enough length of cord. No damn batteries to die at the worst time. Plug in FTW.
