I was looking for a drink after a work out that was actually refreshing / not too much sugar / with as many natural ingredients as possible (so it keeps in with my diet). This does all of that 🙂 I’ve tried a few and this is by far the best I’ve tried. Prefer this to the shakes I used to have and I know with 6 grams of protein they don’t have as much in them but with my diet and the occasional protein bar it makes up for a good mixed protein diet. It tastes good and for my Saturday morning work out helps me get going again in the afternoon. Thank you UPBEAT, will be looking in to your other products very soon.

I enjoyed actively drinking these cans of water with added fruit concentrate (blueberry and raspberry in my case), but they left an unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth. I normally drink sparkling water during the day and thought these would add some variety, but I needed to have more plain water afterwards just to get rid of that lingering taste. A can (330ml) contains 29 calories, which is fine, but it isn’t something I would drink again, simply as I really don’t like the taste it left behind. Update My partner actually found these cans more palatable than I did and enjoyed both the active taste as well as that all important, lingering aftertaste. It is clearly a matter of taste and, as a result, would be worth sampling as what one person likes or dislikes will be completely different to another. A bit like Marmite, I guess. I have ordered more cans and this is likely to be something we get regularly in the future. I have upped my rating to 4 stars as a result.

I haven't heard of protein water before, but this is definitely an interesting concept! It also has extra vitamins and minerals which is a great bonus. I really wanted to like it - but unfortunately, I'm just really not a fan of the taste or texture. I found the blueberry and raspberry taste to be quite bitter and left my mouth with a chalky taste. The concept is definitely there and it has already got really exciting, on-trend branding - but I feel the flavours and textures need working on.

I love how fresh the flavour of Upbeat's new sparkling drink is! I'm delighted to have found this with summer around the corner. I'm curious about 2 things. 1) How good of a hangover cure is this... 2) How good a mixer would this be with vodka or gin... ;)

I'm a big fan of fizzy drinks so healthy alternatives are always of interest to me. Unfortunately, the majority of these like this product taste quite bad. The flavouring is very artificial and not like the sweet kind it's bitter and there's not enough of it so the whole thing is very underwhelming considering it tastes like only very slightly flavouring sparkling water and not being a fan of sparkling water this was a killer. They're the same size as normal cans and with the benefits of proteins and vitamins is great, but only if you can get through the taste.

Great tasting, energising and refreshing protein drink. Love the sparkling Blueberry and Raspberry flavoured drink. Always have one after my daily cycle workout!

Nice tasting and low calorie drink. You can taste the fruit well and its not too fizzy either so it won't bloat you. Reading the vitamins on the side of the can says it gives about 30% RDA of most of the essentail vitamins you need a day so its a good start having one of these. I am looking forward to trying some new flavours. This tasted much better very cold. I would say if you can get it under a quid for a can then its alright but not worth over that amount even though its infused with vitamins.
