Very cool trex
I Wanted to get a certain/ good/ quality trex for my son who’s become interested. I realized there were many to choose from and after buying/ returning a couple, reading reviews, etc I got this one and we love it. The tail can turn the head/ neck and has a button to open mouth and make it roar/ vibrate so very fun, very detailed, looks realistic.

Amazing dinosaur!!
I love the realness of this dinosaurs roar.. the way it shakes his head and mimics the T rex from the Jurassic Park/World films makes my son LOVE it... it is by far his favorite... he has other dinosaurs that roar like the Indominus Rex and another T Rex but they simply just roar they don't shake their head or anything like that. My 4 yr old received this for his birthday.. he goes everywhere with it and is super sturdy!!!

A quality product.
My little cousin loved it. The pivoting joint for the one of the feet is a little off-center, but nothing that would bother a kid. It has survived being played with somewhat roughly, so far.

Most accurate Jurassic Park Tyrannosaur figure to date!
Extremely beautiful and accurate representation of the Jurassic Park Trex. That's my first impression right away on taking this beautiful Jurassic Tyrannosaur out of the box! This has to be by far the most accurate Tyrannosaurus Figure fans have ever been delivered by Mattel. The torso proportions this time seem to have been fixed to give it it's amazing shape. The feet don't seem to be too oversized this time and the neck shape and width now matches the body's thickness. This Rex even beats the Kenner ones especially on the accuracy of the face. The paint color is 5/5 and can spawn some extremely beautiful custom paint jobs. I felt like a kid taking this out of the box and felt in comparison when I was opening the Thrasher Trex or Red Rex from Kenner back in the days! One of my most favorite things besides the unique roaring action is the soft and squishy tongue it comes with ! It's super bendable and I never expected to see something like this on a figure. Mattel has gone above and beyond. I hope they continue making more into the new movie and beyond! Thank you Mattel !

5 months later, still a favorite toy!
We gifted this dino to our 4-year-old for his bday and I was so worried I was hyping up his gift for him. I didn't. His eyes LIT UP when he saw this and, if possible, his smile grew even bigger when he discovered it roared. it sounds just like the roar in Jurassic Park. It's still one of his favorite toys. This toy is so perfect that, when the roar didn't work for a day or two (even after changing batteries) I contemplated buying a second one. That leads me to my one complaint ... Every so often the roar "goes out." He just won't roar for a few hours or a few days but then, randomly, he'll start to work again. It's weird. But, aside from that quirk, it's PERFECT.
