Will these work on a standard arduino uno? does it need the arduino mega r3?

All sensor modules can work on a standard arduino uno or the arduino mega r3. You will need to prepare the arduino controller separately.

This kit not includes the main controller. It contains 37 kinds of sensors modules, easy to use and program in arduino software. All sensors modules are compatible with both arduino and raspberry pi.
