Rockport Men's Perth Pull Up Boat Shoe

A lot of what passes as boat or deck shoes these days are made of a line of leather slapped onto a thin layer of plastic (aka sole) These Perth are properly made. The sole has a middle layer of cushioning and the quality of the outer layer is what you expect from Rockport. The insole is specially crafted and beautifully made, instead of a slice of cheap foam that you find in other deck shoes that cost the same SRP.My only gripe with these shoes is the width. If you are not wide footed you would struggle to wear your size without socks, which is a shame as many would like to wear their deck shoes without socks. Oh, well, there is always the invisible trainer socks if you don't want to cramp your style. Still a 5/5 is what it deserves.If you ever wanted to own a pair of boat shoes, these are the ones.

The materials are good and shoe is very confortable. However sizing is far from real, I usually wear 6 to 6,5, order a 6,5 which looked like I was swimming inside the shoe. Very disappointing!

Excellent value for Money and they look fantastic, so ordered a second pair.They are quite dark in colour, more than the picture indicates, no matterFractionally smaller than I would expect.

I love these all leather Boat Shoes. I've been buying them for 20 years now (I'm on my third pair) and wear them until my wife finally persuades me to renew. I hope these guys keep making them for another 2 decades - they are worth every penny. Don't be tempted to go for cheaper modern imitations - spend the money and get the best; you will NOT regret it!

I already had these exact shoes in size 10, now about six years old and looking a bit old, decided to get a new pair, a 10 always fits me in any make of shoe so ordered 10s, they were surprisingly big and I could walk out of them easily. I returned them and ordered a 9 1/2 which are still bigger then expected, I can get them on and off without untying after only 2 weeks use. I think that when they are 'broken in' they will be falling off! I recommend that you order a full (UK) size less than normal with this shoe unless you want a really loose fit. I need to wear thicker socks now to keep them on. NB the above does refer to wearing thinnish cotton socks, which will make a difference.

Good quality shoes and very comfortable. They fitted well straight out of the box. Some of the other brands are rather narrow in width but these were fine. On some other reviews there have been problems with sizing but I am happy to say I ordered UK size 10 and got size 10. No problems.

De los mejores par que he usado.Cómodos y de gran calidad a un precio magnífico, la talla es la correcta que uso (27.5) pensando ya en mi próximo par.

I have never written a review, but I am so impressed with these shoes that I have to write one for them. Boat shoes are a great all-purpose shoe for Florida coastal living. Before I bought these Rockports, I always bought Topsiders.- a good shoe but with a very short life. I have worn out Topsiders in the time it took me to break in the Rockports. That's only a slight exaggeration. They're like wooden clogs when you take them out of the box. It's tough going at first, you're not sure who will win, you or the shoe. But if you go slowly, a couple of hours a day until they soften up, you will eventually have a comfortable, good-looking, seemingly indestructible pair of shoes. I've had them for 3 years, wear them every day, and expect to get another year or two out of them, easily. Worth the money? Definitely.
