Brilliant product does a sound job.
I really like this product. I use my voice professionally, and while working from home I've been trying various microphones and using old blankets as acoustic shielding. Rubbish! But no more! I've got the tonor microphone isolation shield teamed up with an old AKG microphone and it works like a blinder. The shield itself feels solid and professionally built. The acoustic foam certainly prevents echo and if you tweak your sound inputs you can get it just the way you like it. Obviously if you try to set up in a bathroom it's going to still sound boxy. But mine is tucked away in the corner of a living room, plenty of soft surfaces to absorb sound. But here's the thing about this shield. It is not too heavy. In fact, I have it mounted on a good strong scissor arm stand which is clamped to my (admittedly quite heavy) bookshelf. It works a treat, I simply rotate the arm into a semi-fold position, close the screen a little (it folds inward, around the mic) and there you are . I should also add that it is not difficult to assemble, there's a bracket and various screw threads to help you, honestly it took me 10 minutes to put together on my scissor arm. Sound quality? I have a *very* good set of headphones and have listened to playback and while it's obviously not as completely 'dead' as it would be in a proper studio, it is certainly good enough for most broadcast/voice over purposes. Practice a bit of mic technique, and don't get your mouth too far away or your voice will "throw" all over the place. Team it up with a good pop screen, too. Thoroughly recommended. I'm a happy bunny. Please note: I am not connected to the seller in any way, nor has the seller asked me to review this item, or offered me any inducement to do so. I paid full price for this item.

Great for the price
For the price it works as expected. It fits on my boom arm and big enough for my needs. If you are a beginner and looking for a quick sound shield this is a good option. Installation instructions were also clear and easy to follow. Build quality looks good, it's mostly metal and foam.

Instructions are dreadful!
Does what it's meant to do once set up, but the assembly instructions are dreadful and nonsensical. Unless you have some knowledge about how to set these up (I don't), you could have a long afternoon ahead of you.

Worked well for Zoom use.
In the recent CV19 hassles family members have been holding regular quizzes etc. Most of my computer related equipment is good but old and the howling cooling fans tended to make using built in mics useless. After using a studio set up of hanging condenser mics from a boom for a laptop, I moved on to my old office desktop with an excellent speaker system but no camera or microphone. In the end I ended up using my Audio Tehnica 2035 microphone on a Samson SAMD5 stand with this closely enclosing all but an aperture at the front. Running this through a Scarlett 2i4 produced an excellent clear voice. The problem of it being visible dissapeared when using the Zoom background feature in the pseudo green screen mode as it blanks out anything that doesn't move wherever it is, so my Paris cafe background hid it even though in non-background mode it was a large ugly blob slightly to my left front. A nice simple solution with lots of potential for other set ups.

Works well but has a design flaw
I used this with a new Rode condensor mic and it worked really well. I could definitely tell the difference in the sound quality despite its small size and initially l was very happy with it. However, it was difficult to fix to my mic stand, simply because it was missing a large washer. And then one day, without warning, the shield fell off the bracket, without me even knocking it. On close inspection, the only thing connecting the shield to the bracket was a small rivet, which had pulled through the hole. I could have drilled the rivet out and replaced it with a nut and bolt and it probably would have been fine, but l decided to send it back for a refund.

Good, solid, compact product
I bought this so I could record some vocals and trumpet in my office at home. It fits perfectly on my mic stand and there's plenty of room for my Shure mic to fit on there. It also comes with all the attachments you need to get it working straight away on your mic stand with your own mic. I like how it folds up and you can store it away in the handy pouch it comes with. It's a nice addition to my home "studio" and is great value. The foam is thick and cut nicely too. Very happy with the product, would thoroughly recommend.

Stole My Mic!
I have only received this today, put it together loosley and realised that it was to small for my liking and setup so i started to take this apart but the support rod is stuff like in my mic making it no longer usable. This was what i thought was a good buy as it seemed high quality till my mic is now not usable as i can not get a support rod out!

Fits my Blue Yeti perfectly, and provides shelter from echo's in a small living room
It does exactly as required. Living in a flat, and having my equipment in my living room, in the corner, inches away from two walls, I needed some magic to protect against echos. It was either this or sticking "foam" to the walls, which may cause damage. The shield is attached to a TONOR microphone arm, with a Blue Yeti microphone mounted in front. The photograph shows that I mounted the Blue Yeti different to how the instructions suggest, with the black "rod" screwed in, further than. The reason is to ensure the Microphone head is covered, by the shield. And it works and fits, and feels very secure. I have no concerns, the TONOR arm, can't hold the weight either.

Works As Advertised
This is a nice little unit from Tonor that blocks sound reflections from the equipment rack, monitor, and wall directly behind it. However, it is not designed to block reflections from elsewhere in the studio, nor does it — so I am adding acoustical foam on those spots. Be advised that there are some issues with the mounting hardware: 1) The screw adapter shown at the red arrow in photo 1 was not listed as a part online or in the accompanying instructions. Fortunately it was included because it is required to mount the acoustic baffle onto the 5/8" male thread on my mike boom. 2) Unfortunately, however, the capped black cylinder that suspends the mike terminates in a 3/8" male thread instead of a 5/8" male thread necessary to screw into the 5/8" female Audio Technica mike suspension mount. This required me to spend a few bucks on a chrome 3/8" female to 5/8" male adapter (shown at the green arrows in both photos). It's a minor quibble, but I advise potential buyers to check the thread size on their mike stands to see if it compatible with the included hardware. I was surprised because a 5/8" thread is standard with microphone mounts — at least in the USA. Perhaps this item was intended to be used with the Tonor mike shown in the ads. It would be nice if the online ad gives the thread specifications. Still, I recommend this mike baffle, even if you need to buy the extra adapter to make it work for you. Some reviews here suggest contacting Tonor about this or any other issue.

Bouclier insonorisant
Matériel de qualité correcte. Par contre, un peu déçu de la dimension du matériel. En effet, celui-ci est trop petit pour abriter un micro type SM58 !
