Anyone receive an empty block?? Our fossil block didn’t contain a single fossil or gemstone. The kids we’re so disappointed!

I ordered this kit for my Grandson's birthday. It was suposed to have 20 pieces of gems and fossils, but only had 16.

What is the white substance that the gemstones are embedded in made of exactly? Exact chemical name please.

The one I ordered was hard packed sand. Not sure what else was in the sand. Put in a box to dig for the gems because it’s messy

Will three year old enjoy it ?

As all children develop at different levels, depending on the individuals abilities and limits this could be suitable.

What you suppost to break it open?

There should be tools to use to excavate the pieces by brushing away the sand. If you break it, it will break the fossils!

Great educational kit and great seller

My six year old grandson had so much fun excavating this dinosaur tooth! He was extremely disappointed that the box did not contain the dinosaur “poop” (because he’s six 🤣) but i contacted the company and Candi immediately, kindly, mailed it to me. He loves the book too.

Purchased as a gift for my science loving nephew. I was told he really enjoyed this kit and it was fun to pretend to be an archeologist.

Kid was SO excited

My nephew didn’t even make it home before he started excavating - there was dirt all over the carpet at the church where he opened this gift. Oops! He was enamored by this kit, and his mom sent me videos of him still enthusiastically working on it the following morning. Definitely recommend! (But be careful where you let the kid play with it if you don’t want a mess)
