Will this support a 27 inch apple display?

I have a similar monitor mount supporting a 27" display. Check the weight specifications on the monitor and of this stand to see if it will support it. Weight is the deciding factor not size.

Will this clamp sufficiently to an approximate 1" thickness table without stability issues?
