Does the postual cervical disc hydrator work as well as an inversion table for the lumbar disc?

Probably not. This version only stretches the cervical vertebrae in the neck. There is a version that has an additional lower segment that might work, but I have not tried it.

The heading says model 1000 and shows the chin strap. the product description says model 1100s kit 1. which is it? i don't want it if no chinstrap

It's the 1100-S. The strap goes around the forehead. It holds the head in place well.
