Fluoride Cavity Protection Mouthwash

I’m using this as the last step of Dr. Ellie Phillips mouthwash routine in lieu of the fluorescent dyed act she recommends. It has the right amount of fluoride as well as xylitol, and if I’m not mistaken, their oxygene is the same as the ingredients in the Closys she also recommends. I’ve been using this for about a month as part of the whole system and it works great as a final rinse to add more fluoride to my routine and to counteract the acidity and alcohol of the Listerine. I love that it is dye free and the xylitol adds a wetting effect that lasts for several hours. If you haven’t heard of Dr. Ellie Phillips definitely look her up. I’ve been using her system for about a month and my mouth has never felt cleaner.! Excellent mouthwash that does not stain your teeth. It has been beneficial in decreasing my teeth sensitivity.

Was getting pretty nervous when I began to feel like a cavity was setting in. Regular brushing, flossing, avoiding sugar and simple carbs, along with oil pullimg did not affect a change. However, this did! I no longer have a cavity or sensitivity, no issues at all. Now the whole family uses this mouthwash. Definitely would recommend to anyone. No gross flavor or smell & super effective!

I give this a 4 instead of a 5 star because of the cap. Product needs a bigger and deeper cap to pour into just once instead of refilling the small lid. Otherwise, excellent mouthwash.

Besides killing germs and freshening breath, it also reduces plaque formation AND contains fluoride to strengthen teeth. Because of the active ingredients (no alcohol!), it kills the bad germs without killing the mouth's good microflora. This was one of the main reasons I started using it. Alcohol-based products wipe out everything, which isn't good, because it throws off the mouth's natural microbiome. But the best part of all? NO DYES! I'll never go back to using mouthwashes that are blue or purple (What was I thinking???) Only caveat: The flavor is a bit medicinal. It's minty, but not at all sweet. I don't mind it--I'm only rinsing and spitting--but it's something to consider.

I have a fissured tongue that is so incredibly sensitive that normal (even non-alcohol) mouth wash burns so much it brings me to tears. Even toothpastes that are mint are uncomfortable. This mouth rinse is amazing. On top of being the only mouth rinse I have found that does not burn, it tastes as close to neutral water as possible (doubt it could be any milder), has fluoride AND xylitol. Highly recommend! Dentist said he saw a difference before I even mentioned I was using this.

Oxyfresh works really well to help heal oral issues.

I love Oxyfresh products. The lemon toothpaste is my go-to. It’s been tough for me to get to the dentist this year so I’ve been doubling down on home care: Waterpik, Sonicare, and adding fluoride to the mix. The Oxyfresh Cavity Protection mouthwash is so much better than normal commercial mouthwashes. I have dry mouth so an alcohol formula is out, but I’m allergic to ~something~ in the non-alcohol formulas I’ve tried. Even Biotene gets a little weird. The flavor of this Oxyfresh formula is nice—a very mild mint formula, not too viscous, not drying, doesn’t take a lot. Sometimes I add it to the Waterpik reservoir. It’s tricky to not drink for a half hour after use—see dry mouth, remembering to take meds, etc—so I use it once a day at most. I can’t attest to it changing anything major (I’ve made it to my early 30s with no cavities) but if you’re looking for a fluoride rinse that’s better than the usual suspects, it has the same active ingredient in a much better formula. I also like the lemon non-fluoride version too!

Thought I received a different flavor, I really liked the ‘no-flavor’ version (I ordered peppermint). Eventually after communicating with the brand, they send me the correct flavor and apologized for the wrong product send. Really felt good about this brand as the solved this quickly. Also taste of these are great. Can recommend for a brand you can trust and have great products.
