V-Moda Crossfade Wireless Over-Ear Headphone - Phantom Chrome

I bought these headphones based on reviews I've seen scattered on the internet. On recommendation, I bought these - slightly scared I spent $300 on headphones that are subpar. Once I received the package itself, I knew I wasn't dealing with any middle-of-the-mall pair of headphones. The packaging was nice; you could immediately tell that the gods presented you with a musical gift based on packaging alone. The headphones came with x1 micro-USB cable & x1 analog audio cable. They sync'ed to my phone without any problem what-so-ever but I have not had the opportunity to sync these headphones with another device while simultaneously playing music. These are over-the-ear headphones and they ISOLATE noise; they do not cancel noise. However when you're jamming out to your favorite tracks...you can't hear anything at all. The sound quality is the main selling point here. Sound quality is superb and will surpass just about any pair of headphones that seemed worthy enough to cling to your ears. The high & lows are incredibly powerful. I was able to pickup partitions of my favorite music that I've never heard before; the clarity the VMODA Crossfade provide is unmatched. This, in no way, distorted mids. The Crossfade wireless perfectly ties highs mids & lows together like the Holy Trinity. Unlike some headphones I've experienced, you can FEEL the bass resonating from them. This makes the music you're listening much more enjoyable. A concern many have had would be the quality of music with Bluetooth compared to a wired connection. Fear not! These bad boys sound almost exactly alike when compared to a wired connection. There is a very, very small difference between the two. You would be incredibly surprised how similar the 2 connections are. These are, without a doubt, the best sounding Bluetooth headphones you will listen to. Overall durability? You're not breaking these headphones any time soon. The headband is made of steel yet provides a lot of flexibility. I purposely tried to bend the steel bands connected to the drivers and couldn't. You will have to put in serious effort in order to bend these beasts. There are kevlar wrapped wires hanging above each driver; they do not get in the way in any fashion. Some have complained about getting this wire caught when taking the headphones off but I do not see how this is possible. To protect your favorite headphones, you will also receive a nice case to store your headphones & accessories into; the case has a decent amount of durability behind it so you can store your jam boxes and be on your way. The battery life is also something to be remembered. These have latest almost 8 hours before needing to be charged again. Need a quick charge before heading to the gym? Thankfully these babies are equipped with quick charge. 15 minutes of charging will get you 2 hours of listening! While these sleek pair of headphones scream superb quality - it does come with a few cons. One major con are the 'memory foam' ear pads. Since I use these headphones throughout a majority of my day...my ears would begin to hurt and I'd have to take my headphones off. My ears were pressing against the drivers which made them more & more uncomfortable to wear. I solved this problem by spending the extra money on a pair of XL ear pads. Installing these XL ear pads was incredibly easy. Some have said the earpads 'increase' sound quality but I don't find this to be true however they also did not take AWAY from my music experience. The ear pads are a comfort upgrade only. Want to use these headphones for gaming on your Xbox One? These are excellent gaming headphones; Don't expect something similar to a 5.1/7.1 surround sound though - remember...these aren't designed for gaming but make an excellent alternative regardless. If you plan on chatting while gaming: do yourself a favor - buy the BoomPro microphone. The stock analog cable DOES transmit voice however you may sound incredibly muffled to a point where no one can hear you. You CANNOT sync these headphones via Bluetooth to an Xbox one. You will need to plug these headphones directly into the Xbox one controller. Verdict? Buy. Buy. Buy. Take the $300 and spend it. Once you encapsalte yourself into the music with these beastly headphones you will become a V-MODA enthusiest. I sure am now and will recommend these to ANYBODY in search for new headphones. While the price is steep...you absolutely cannot deny the overall music quality & headphone durability. TL;DR PROs: Highs & lows sound incredibly superb. Bass so distinct it can be felt while simtaneously not distorting any highs, mids or lows. Bluetooth vs Analog connection sound incredibly similar and the difference can go unnoticed. Bluetooth mic sounds incredibly clear. Durability seems top-notch; you won't be bending/breaking the steel band without serious effort. Lots of battery life. Quick-charged enabled. (~15 minute charge = ~2 hours of music) CONs: Stock ear pads may be too small & your ears may touch the drivers. (Buy XL Ear pads, $20.) Stock analog cable, if used for communication, will make you sound muffled & almost uncomprehendable. (If needed for gaming, buy a VMODA BoomPro mic) You don't own these yet.

The quick version: Love these headphones. Great sound, tons of bass. Can use either bluetooth or wired, which is a must. Solid little headphone. Now if you want more details.... SOUND: I really like the sound. I switched over from V-Moda's M-100. That was my favorite headphone to this point. I think the M-100 sound is a little more refined (you can distinguish slightly better between low/mid/high), but I think I like the Crossfade even better regardless. The bass in really booming! Without rigorously comparing them side-by-side to other headphones, you cannot possibly be disappointed. Unless you are an audiophile, but in that case I don't know why you are looking at these anyway. There is a very slight difference in the sound from wired to bluetooth, but it tends to feel like the bluetooth sounds even better! Big surprise to me. BLUETOOTH: This is my first bluetooth headphone. Never thought I would go that route, but having the wired option helped me make the switch. If the battery dies, you can just plug in. The bluetooth has been cutting in and out on me very briefly at times, but that might be more on my iPhone than the headphones (my iPhone has been a little weird lately.) I am very happy with the bluetooth. BATTERY: Seems to hold up well! I use wired most of the time at my desk at work to save battery. I used bluetooth for a couple weeks without charging it getting in and out of work. I have a 15 minute walk each way. The battery indicator is on your phone in the top bar. It doesn't seem to be super accurate, but it does the job! And it is way easier to see than having to take off your headphones to look. It only comes with the cable, so you have to use a plug from your phone. COMFORT: I wear them all day long. I get a little sore at times, but they are super comfortable overall. I do know if you could wear any headphone all day. I highly recommend the XL ear pads. They would be much less comfortable without them. I haven't used them with the stock ear pads, so I can't comment on those. DURABILITY: V-Moda is known to have put these through the ringer. They feel very solid. The only weak point is the little plastic piece where the fabric on the band ends before the ear cups. If you wear the headphones off one ear, the twist can eventually pull one of the screws out. I did this to my M-100s, but they still worked and felt great months after the screw (1 of 3) broke. My old Beats broke after the same use, but instead of a little screw pulling out, the band actually cracked. V-Moda wins that battle hands down. FUNCTION: They don't have the Cliq-Fold function that the M-100s have, but I don't really mind. I haven't needed to collapse them yet. The buttons are a little hard to find when they are on your head, but you will get the hang of it. Overall, I am very happy with these headphones. They sound great, look great, and feel great.

The V-Moda Crossfade Wireless headphones are an excellent choice if you are looking for punchy bass, crisp treble, and clear sound. What's great about these headphones is that they sound great even while in wireless mode. However I found the stock earpads to be a bit thin - so I upgraded those with V-Moda's XL earpads for an additional $20. Sound Signature - Bass lovers will enjoy these! The sound signature of these headphones is V-shaped - bass and treble are emphasized over the mids. Bass is punchy and tight while treble is also well-defined, and "sparkly" at the top. Mids are not as forward as the bass or treble, but are still very much present and clear. Unlike other bass-emphasized headphones, the mids do not sound muffled, but are still well-defined. Music such as EDM, Rap, Pop, and modern Rock music sound quite good with these. Wired vs Wireless Sound Quality - both sound great Whether listening to these headphones in wired, or wireless mode; the sound is nearly the same. In wireless mode the over all crispness of the sound is slightly less than wired mode. I could only tell the difference if i repeatedly plugged in and unplugged the wire - and even then, the difference is so small, that it's not an issue. I usually use these headphones wireless as a result. Sound - Compared to other headphones The Crossfade Wireless are headphones that I consider to be bass-heavy. Another well-known bassy headphone is the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro. (The Custom One Pro has an adjustable bass setting but it lacks bluetooth.)The Crossfade Wireless definitely has tighter bass, and more extended treble than the Custom One Pro. But because of the extended treble, classic rock and acoustic music can sometimes have artificial sounding highs. Because of this, I prefer the Custom One Pros whenever listening to classic rock and 80s music. But for EDM and Rap, the Crossfade Wireless are amazing. Wireless and Wired Functionality In wireless mode, once you've paired these headphones to your bluetooth-capable device (phone, tablet, computer, etc), connection takes only a few seconds everytime the Crossfade Wireless headphones are turned on. On my phone, there is an indicator of the connection, and how much battery charge is left on the headphones. I also happen to have these headphones paired with my laptop. When both my phone and laptop are present however, the headphones default to whichever is actually putting out audio at a given moment. The range on these headphones is good. I've had the my iPhone 6 over 30 feet away from me behind a single wall and the Crossfade Wireless worked just fine. However more walls or more distance past that would easily cause spotty reception. I suppose the strength of the source of the bluetooth signal (iPhone, audio reciever, computer, etc) would also play into the equation - but in my experience, the reception is quite good. Battery Life and Charging It took me about 2hrs to fully charge the battery of this headphone. The battery is not user-removable. The manual states it lasts 12 hours. I've used it on and off for a few days straight without having to charge it. It should be noted that in wired mode, the headphones do not use battery power. This means when the battery goes out, you can still use these headphones wired. There is no visual battery life indicator on the headphones themselves. You would have to check the connected device for how much life is left in the current charge - this is common in a lot of bluetooth headphones. Latency in Wireless mode - none noticable When watching videos and youtube on my phone or ipad, I have not noticed any sort of latency issue in wireless mode. The sound of people talking matches the timing of their lip movements, and gaming seems to be work correctly - at least on my iPhone 6. Comfort This is where these headphones fell a bit short for me. The pads included with these headphones are somewhat thin for my tastes. What's more, the pads are not quite big enough for totally encase my ears - which means some of the padding rested directly on the outer tips of my ears. This caused a bit of soreness after an hour or so. Fortunately, V-Moda offers the memory foam XL Pad for around $20. Upgrading to the XL Pads made the fit much more comfortable. With the XL pads, my ears are fully-encased inside the pads, and no longer touch them directly. I can now wear the headphones significantly longer with a lot more comfort. Though I still have the one complaint - my ears get a bit hot after a few hours of use. It's not a huge issue, and I can put up with it. But by contrast, my Beyerdynamic Costum One Pros are much more "spacious" - allowing my ears to remain cool for longer periods of time. Build Quality - Good, but the buttons are a bit clunky The Crossfade Wireless headphones are made of good parts and materials. The housing of each earpiece is made of sturdy plastic with metal trim and metal shield plates. The earpieces are held in place by a metal frame and the headband is flexible but very sturdy. It all makes for a robust pair of headphones. In fact, I've accidentally stepped on them once - forcing one of the earpieces to dislodge from the frame. But since the frame itself is metal, and the fact that the plastic is well-reinforced; there was no damage - I simply just popped the earpiece back into place. However, the buttons that control volume, and play need a bit of improvement. The pressing action of these buttons feels too shallow and sometimes pressing the button doesn't actually feel like it's being pressed. The power-on button also functions as a pairing-mode button. This slides instead of being pressed-down. The sliding action is decent, but in the "off" position, the force required to slide it to "on" seems a bit too much - I sometimes find it painful to operate since it catches on my fingernail. Bling - customizable shields Like other V Moda headphones, the shield plates on each earpiece can be replaced for a customized look. The V-Moda website has a special service in which customized plates with different materials and surface types can be made. The materials range from simple aluminum to even precious metals that can cost as much as $40k! However, the more affordable options (such as the aluminum and standard metal) are still quite good-looking. You can even have your own initials engraved into them, as well as your own custom logo. Conclusion The Crossfade Wireless headphones are a great choice for someone looking for punchy bass, extended highs, and excellent clarity. The fact that these sound so great in wireless mode is perhaps the most amazing thing about them. The default ear pads do require replacing for the best comfort, and they still can get your ears hot - but it's a small gripe to an otherwise excellent pair of wireless headphones.

Pros: * Metal headband (As opposed to cheap plastic that tends to break one way or another) * Sound great after a bit of EQ adjustment * Decent battery life on wireless * Wireless sound quality is good * Has option to use in wired mode without draining the battery * They don't fold (might be a con depending on who you are I guess) * They completely enclose your ears * Easy to operate in wired and wireless mode * Comfortable with XL ear pads. Can wear them for several hours minimal discomfort. Cons: * Extremely bass heavy (Not a con if all you care about is bass) * Fits a tad tight but can be made more comfortable with the XL ear pads. They definitely won't come off accidentally though so it is sort of a pro too. * This headset is not great if you are planning on depending on the bluetooth functionality. While the battery life is pretty decent, the battery itself is not the best, and will cease to hold a charge after a short while of ownership. Additional Thoughts: I have been looking for a headset that would last longer than 6 months before cracking, snapping, and breaking at the ear piece/headband and I am hoping that these are "The One". I have only had these for a couple days but overall I am happy with them. The fact that these have a metal head band (Instead of cheap brittle plastic) is mostly what sold me on these. My biggest gripe with this headset is that it is way too bass heavy for me to enjoy listening to genres with an emphasis on the sound dynamics of the music as a whole rather than just an emphasis on the beat. It tends to flood out the mids and highs; so it probably won't be for people who are audiophiles or who like to enjoy music that doesn't have an emphasis on bass (Such as rock, metal, classical, etc). That said though, utilizing a 3rd party software EQ to bring the low frequencies way down, boost up the mids a bit, and the highs just a tad, and the headphones are actually more pleasant to listen to now. Some frequencies still get lost in the bass but it still sounds much better than my old headphones. As a side note to the above, it would be really great if the headset was configurable via an app, especially to let people adjust EQ directly in the headset itself so that they sound the same no matter what you plug them into, and whether or not said device has capability to make EQ adjustments on its own sound. For instance, XBox One doesn't have a configurable EQ (that I can find whether native, app, or otherwise) so I'm stuck listening to everything in my games with super deep bass. Perhaps even have configurable profiles too so you can quickly switch between your favorite settings for different songs or genres. The bluetooth wireless functionality is easy to use and works fine with my PC and mobile devices. I notice very little if any audio quality differences between blue tooth and wired mode. There can be occasional pops or crackling on blue tooth but I am chalking that up to it just being the nature of wireless devices and interference. It isn't frequent enough for it to be an issue for me. Battery life in wireless mode has so far been stellar. I charged it to full capacity the first day I got it and haven't had to charge it again yet. As mentioned above, while the charge capacity and use time before needing a charge is good; the battery itself is apparently not so great. My headset ceased holding a charge after very short term ownership (About 6 months), and I didn't actually even use the wireless all that often. I've charged it perhaps maybe 5 times since I've had it. I have since sent it in for warranty repair, the warranty process went smoothly, and customer support was really good about the whole process. Just be aware that the turn around time is a bit lengthy, it took almost a month to get my repaired headset back. Although the stock ear cushions are by no means uncomfortable; the XL memory foam ear cushions definitely make the headset much more comfortable if you're a long term wearer of headphones. The ear pieces are a lot smaller than I imagined they'd be. I thought that they would be more the size of studio headphones, and I didn't think they would fully enclose my ear, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they enclose my ear just fine. I've seen some reviews complaining that the noise cancellation isn't all that great. I didn't buy these for noise cancellation so I don't really have an opinion on it one way or another, but I will say that it's okay, not great, not bad either. Overall, aside from the minor things here and there, I like this headset a lot. I am hoping to get at least 3 years use out of these (I didn't think that was asking too much of the previous headsets I owned but apparently I was wrong...) If this headset can last a reasonable amount of time (with proper care and handling of course) then I think I will call these my new favorite.

V-Moda is a brand that has always been very fashion forward. It was until the M80 and M100 in which they were able take traction and gain popularity by merging their designs with respectable acoustics that was generally pleasing to a wide range of people. Now, they have finally taken what made them popular and removed the wires. This is the new Crossfade Wireless. The box is a bit taller than the M100’s version because there is no longer the click fold hinge that allowed the headphone to collapse in upon self, rendering the new Crossfade wireless not as portable. This may be a deal breaker to some, but the included case is still of quality and attempts to minimize its footprint by molding its shape to the headphone. Included in the box is a spare set of shields usually this will be the custom set you’ve created. You have your quick guide and warranty information especially informing you about V-Moda’s kick ass immortal life program. Inside the specially molded clamshell zipper case you’ll find the micro USB cable to charge your headphones and the 1 button with an in-line microphone cable allowing you to use the Crossfade wireless in passive mode in the event the battery dies or you simply yearn for the best possibly sound quality. And at last you have the clip to mount the case on a bag or your belt. The Crossfade Wireless retains the same incredibly rugged and sexy design as the M-100 and LP series. What’s even more amazing is that it keeps the same size even despite now housing internal electronics to allow wireless connectivity. I have the XL pads installed and these offer improved cushion depth, a bigger soundstage and a smoother sound as well a wider ear diameter for superior comfort over the stock pads. A much recommended upgrade. The headband offers substantial padding to avoid hot points at the top of the head and remains aesthetically pleasing by not being overly bulky and/or not aligning to the curvature of your head. In summary, these are gorgeous, well-built headphones that can easily withstand everyday wear and tear and if you do break them, the immortal life program is an option. The location of the wireless controls are fairly intuitive. On the top left we have the volume down button. On the top middle, we have the multi button, play, pause, answer and reject calls as well as activating your voice assistant and on the top right we have the volume up button. Moving down we have a single rocker that when pushed to the middle turns on the headphone and pairs it to the last known device and when pushed and held to the far right for 2-3 seconds puts it in pairing mode. The Crossfade wireless can be connected to 2 devices at once, for example a smart watch and a smart phone or a smart phone and a tablet. The M-100 was at a time my favorite headphone, but it was until I ventured off into what other high quality portable offerings were available that made me see its flaws. The M-100 is undeniably a pleasing and fun sounding headphone with stunning bass performance, but its resolution and coherency leaved some to be desired. The Crossfade Wireless is a welcoming improvement. By taking the famous M-100 sound and fine tuning the frequency response balance to be more linear as well as brining out more resolving power to allow the subtle textures and harmonic low level details to surface has resulted in being my favorite Bluetooth headphone, period and possibly being my overall “favorite” sounding headphone surpassing the Master & Dynamic MH40. Yes, these are that DAMN good. When in Bluetooth operation, the following said about the sound quality of the Crossfade Wireless is still mostly the same, but it just doesn’t have the same level of detail and overall focus as when it is wired and plugged into a fine setup. Other than that, these are the best sounding Bluetooth headphones I have heard and owned surpassing the Parrot Zik 2, Sennheiser Momentum Wireless, Sony XB950BT, Bang & Olufsen H8, Definitive Technology Symphony 1, Beats Studio Wireless, Beats Solo2 Wireless, Samsung Level Over and Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless. The sound of Crossfade wireless is still immediately on the fun sounding side of the spectrum, but still very refined and coherent. No part of the frequency range is absent. The bass extends endlessly and punches you with no mercy when the song calls for it. This is one of the most downright seductive bass presentations that I have ever heard and it manages to integrate into the midrange quite stupendously well without destroying that whole octave. The midrange is still a bit relaxed, but it’s more neutral sounding than the M100 and sounds clean and proportionally well represented. Vocals sound rich and full even whilst the bass is turning the skin on your face into water waves. The treble seems a bit more present and extended over the M100, but most importantly, it’s a cleaner and more natural sounding treble which really helps clean up the initial transients thus improving imaging and granting the Crossfade Wireless a very, very good soundstage for a closed back and among my best performers in that region. Now, these aren’t my best sounding portables, but they are not far from it whilst retaining a character that grants them undeniable enjoy ability. I love to be able hear every single thing in the recording, but I more importantly enjoy feeling the emotion in the recording more and this is where the Crossfade Wireless excels.

I'm generally not one to write any reviews on any products, but after owning a set of V-MODA Crossfade Wireless (1) headphones for about 2- years and using them almost everyday, I just had to express my satisfaction with them. To make it clear, I am no sound aficionado and when it comes to sound quality, I'm not the one to be asking how it sounds compared to other headphones of similar caliber. To me, I just know the volume is loud enough and the bass is delightfully bassy. Rather, I'm pretty familiar with their durability as I use these headphones whenever I workout or run. Granted, there are most definitely better headphones to be running with and maybe specific sports earbuds fit the runner's niche but I've never had any issues while running with these. Before owning a Crossfade Wireless, I always used wired headphones and earbuds during my workouts. As you would guess, the wires would always get tangled with the weights, sometimes trapped under them and snapped, and they would also become extremely annoying on runs. With the V-MODAs, the "Wireless" part of the name eliminated all of those issues. On the rare but inevitable days that I forget to charge my headphones and am forced to plug them in, I’ve still not issues with their durability. Sure, it’ll be annoying and still get caught between my body and the bench or some weights, but they have yet to snap like previous wires. In terms of durability of the headphones themselves, there was one particular incident (out of many), that colored me impressed and inspired this review. I will start with this: Don’t ask me how my headphones got into this predicament. A few weeks ago, at the gym again, I was minding my business, enjoying the workout with my V-MODAs. My friend comes over and asks me to spot him while he squats 405lb (~183kg) for a few reps. As you should when you spot, I took off my headphones but put them on the ground behind me (you should never put you’re prized $300 headphones on the floor in the first place). I spot him a few reps and his last one, he gets stuck at the bottom of the squat. The hotel we’re at doesn’t have safety rails to drop the bar on. Not thinking about my headphones behind me, I pull the bar off his back and the weights on one side of the barbell land on my headphones. Needless to say, because I’m writing this review, my headphones survived the incident and still work like new (knock on wood that delayed issues don’t appear). There are a few cracks on the silver lining beside the earpads but no major damages. Overall, I am extremely pleased with these headphones and would not trade them for anything in the world except maybe the Crossfade Wireless 2. Maybe when the ones I have now die but may that never happen. My only complaint with the headphones were that the stock earpads would crimp my ears during long gaming sessions, and commutes, especially on plane trips. It really wasn’t a terribly big issue but I decided to invest $20 on some XL earpads that arrived yesterday morning. As soon as I installed them (easy as pie to do so) and put them on, it was instant satisfaction. I then put them through two intense workouts in the same day and my love for the earpads and headphones increased tenfold. Absolutely amazing, if you’re willing to spend $300+ on headphones, look into these, especially if you need a set of gym headphones and don’t want the run-of-the-mill look and sound of Beats lifters.

I purchased these headphones a couple months ago, and not once have I regretted doing so. I would describe my music taste as anything that isn't country or rap (and yes, there are of course exceptions to the rule) with a preference towards dubstep (Lindsey Stirling and the like). They perform admirably in every way possible to my untrained ears. The bass hits hard, but is also still pleasantly warm and not boomy, which is in stark contrast to many cheaper pairs of headphones I have run into over the years. Mids are crispy and clear, and I personally turned down the high end stuff with an EQ, but that's just my preference. I am coming from a dearly loved pair of the legendary ATH-M50x's that served me well for a good couple of years. Nothing happened to them, but I wanted something with a little more bass and without a cord. These most certainly delivered. I can get a full week of use out of them walking around the university with them on at 30% volume and about 2-3 hours of use a day. Going from someone who had to deal with a clunky cord all the time to having a completely wireless pair of headphones is a transformative experience, one that I recommend experiencing in some capacity or another. I have never used the included cord with them, though I did purchase the boom-pro mic that they sell so I can use it as a gaming headset, and I am also quite impressed with the quality of that. The mic is a little quiet, but that can be dealt with on the software side quite easily. As for comfort, the ATH-M50x's (with velour earpads) win by a landslide, though that is mitigated by purchasing the XL pads. They help a ton, as the included pads are far too shallow, and frankly hurt to use for more than a couple minutes. Regarding the default volume, I quite agree with a few of the other reviewers in that it defaults to an uncomfortably high volume when you first turn it on. This is more of a gripe than anything, as it is just as easy to turn them on, bump the volume down, and then put them on. TL;DR: Fantastic sounding, great battery life, durable, spectacular aesthetics, make sure to buy the XL pads, and turn them on before you put them on your head because they default to an uncomfortably loud volume. I've been a professional DJ for many years, eventually switching from my trusty Sure cans over to V-Moda Crossfade LP (non wireless) for my DJ gigs about 4 years ago. I put the original Crossfade LP headphones through a lot of abuse including long nights at high volumes, being knocked around, thrown in boxes with equipment, loaned to other DJs and dropped. The old ones started to show their wear by the plastics eventually getting hairline cracks and the earpads getting small cracks in the vinyl but they still sound and fit great and the original cable is still perfect. I'd been wanting a pair of the wireless versions for a couple years but the price point kept me away. I finally got a set when they were on sale and they're wonderful. They remind me of my old crossfades in many ways but with a key difference- they're bluetooth! Sound Quality: Very good, clear sound and a little bassy depending on the music. I've seen reviews that say these have too much bass or not enough. I think that's pretty subjective on the part of the listener. I have a recording studio and these sound great for mixing and mastering as well as just listening to podcasts in bed. I have no criticism on the audio quality. I love it. Call Quality: One of the reasons I wanted these was the ability to take calls wirelessly when I'm listening to music. The audio coming into the headphones is fantastic, but the audio going out is not that great. I've had callers tell me that they had trouble understanding me and there was too much background noise. I believe this is due to the placement of the mic which is on the right side facing forward. Don't expect these to be your go-to for phone calls. They work in a pinch but they're really designed for music. That's the reason for 4 stars on sound quality. Purely because of the mic for calls, not because of the actual speakers. My favorite feature: The fact that you can plug them in and use them wired. This is awesome. I can plug them in and use them for DJing, or just unplug the cable and bluetooth them to my iPhone when I want to listen to music or podcasts. This makes these headphones incredibly versatile. Durability: These will last for years. The included case is a bit large but very durable and holds all the cables that are included. The headband will not lose its shape and the fit is consistent. Perfect to go in your backpack or large purse. Tips: Get the XL ear cushions for extended listening comfort. I didn't have these on my old V-Modas and my ears would start to hurt after about 45minutes. The larger cushions eliminate this and they're very easy to change.

Se la prima impressione fosse quella giusta allora WOW... Apri il pacco amazon, scarti e ti ritrovi questa scatola molto compatta arancio e nera con una maniglia di gomma, un bottone di ferro (una borchia di ferro si avete capito bene) che chiude la scatola e un sigillo di stoffa rossa da tagliare e già qui il packing ha vinto tutto...apriamo lo scatolo ed esce questa confezione di gomma plasticata che (non so perchè mi ricorda la forma di Alien..o qualcosa di fantascientifico.. mai vista una cosa del genere) contiene le nostre cuffie....le nostre cuffie belle belle da morire (ma piccole rispetto a quello che immaginavo dalle foto) bellissimi materiali però però...ci sono due cavetti attaccati ai padiglioni (ci vuole un attimo a tagliarli o strapparli per sbaglio...) un pò troppo stile retrò.. Poi la prendo in mano e mi accorgo che i padiglioni non si possono girare piegare (solo allungare ma di poco) ..insomma non si adattano alla testa...come appunto le cuffie di una volta, e sicuramente capisco che una cuffia che non si piega ha bisogno di una custodia ma che comunque in una borsa piccola non ci entrerà mai.... Ok mi dico però chi se ne frega sono bellissime...vediamo come si sentono... Le attacco con il cavo al samsung s8 ...ma come si sentono una schifezza....nooooo...mi dico è impossibile...ovviamente il cavo ha un suo verso (la terza cuffia con lo stesso problema sono cavi fuori standard che sembrano standard..va bhe..) metto la parte dritta in cuffia e la parte a L nel cellulare e noto che il volume è molto alto..l'audio buono (mi aspettavo meglio però il cellulare non è un hifi...) e penso che forse vanno rodate. Le provo in bluetooth (c'è un pulsante dedicato molto solido a destra) ed il volume contina ad essere alto , insomma la stessa qualità o quasi con il cavo..ottimo penso..però...però...l'audio è piatto porca miseria!!!! Gli alti sono abbastanza buoni ma non mi sembrano esaltanti ..i bassi sono equilibrati ma presenti (come cuffie dj buone di qualche anno fa ) Non sono nè scomode nè molte comode , stringono un pò... Ecco queste sono le prime impressioni a caldo. Voglio dare 5 stelle sulla fiducia perchè voglio capire se il suono possa migliorare dopo il rodaggio. Mi spaventa la scomodità, perchè i padiglioni sono sottili ..però quanto sono belle....aggiornamenti a seguire...

I love the design of these headphones, they feel super strong and sound amazing. Great for use when DJing, but also if you are looking for a punchy over-ear Bluetooth headset to use in your downtime.

- Construcción: 10/10 Estos auriculares tienen una calidad constructiva sobresaliente. Se notan densos y muy robustos. Muy buenos materiales y muy bien terminados. Metal, piel sintética de gran calidad, cables (tanto el de conexión como los que salen de la diadema hacia los cuencos) recubiertos y reforzados con kevlar, teniendo el de conexión ambos terminales recubiertos de oro y viniendo una clavija grande igualmente chapada en oro, acabados... La marca ha prestado atención hasta en los mínimos detalles, como la propia caja y el estuche rígido de transporte, moldeado con la forma de los auriculares. Dan la impresión de ser 100% premium, de tener algo realmente bueno entre las manos y de que van a durar una eternidad. - Diseño: 10/10 Su diseño, aunque esto sea algo ya más subjetivo, a mí personalmente también me encanta. - Comodidad: 9/10 Los imaginaba algo más grandes, de hecho tienen un tamaño que son digamos un poco supra-aurales (on-ear) sin llegar a ser completamente circum-aurales (over-ear), por lo que no cubren completamente las orejas, aunque esto en realidad no supone un problema en comodidad, ya que las almohadillas tienen un mullido viscoelástico simplemente extraordinario, algo fenomenal, se amoldan a cualquier perfil sin presionar y la comodidad resulta total, no molesta lo más mínimo. Respecto de aquellos que dicen que las almohadillas XL son algo estrictamente necesario o como mínimo recomendable, diré lo siguiente: no lo son por una razón muy simple, lo único que aportan es un pelín más de grosor, pero no de diámetro, por lo que estamos en las mismas, las orejas siguen sin quedar cubiertas por completo, las almohadillas no apoyan del todo en la cabeza, y lo mismo te da poner otras con 2 o 3 mm más de grosor, porque eso no subsana el "problema" (que en realidad no lo es), además que como digo las almohadillas que vienen de serie son más que suficientes y no solo son extraordinariamente cómodas, sino que también aislan bastante. Si fueran unos auriculares completamente circum-aurales les daría un 10/10, aunque por otra parte serían más voluminosos y francamente yo prefiero que sean algo más compactos manteniendo una comodidad aún más que suficiente. - Sonido: 9/10 Solo los he probado con cable. Aquellos que dicen que les faltan graves yo respondo que no saben lo que están diciendo. De hecho estos son unos auriculares donde los graves vienen enfatizados y mucho. Incluso casi demasiado. Tanto es así que más que faltarles les sobran. A mí personalmente me gusta, pero quizás hubiera preferido un pelín menos de graves. Esa es la razón por la que no le doy un 10. Pero claro, todo depende también del tipo de música que uno escuche: para clásica, instrumental, vocalista, etc, los graves velan un poco la transparencia y las voces, en cambio para música electrónica, rítmica, de percusión, rock, etc, pueden ser incluso el Santo Grial de los auriculares, aunque sigo pensando que los bajos están demasiado presentes. En lo personal habría preferido menos mid-bass manteniendo el sub-bass (o low-bass) para seguir teniendo profundidad pero solo cuando sea necesario, no siempre, y que medios y agudos (o sea la sensación general de transparencia) respirasen un poco más. Aún con todo, se lo perdono porque estoy absolutamente enamorado de estos auriculares. Además, su baja impedancia y alta sensibilidad hacen que puedan ser utilizados con cualquier fuente portátil (móvil, mp3, etc) sin necesidad de amplificador. - Nota final: 9/10 Nada en este mundo es perfecto, pero los detalles que hacen que ciertas calificaciones no lleguen a 10 (a la excelencia) en estos auriculares no significa que no sean buenos, al contrario, son muy muy buenos. Puedo vivir perfectamente con un diámetro de almohadillas un pelín inferior a lo, si nos ponemos estrictos, "deseable", porque el mullido y comodidad son de tal calidad que no noto que necesite ni quiera otra cosa, incluso si me apuras me gusta sentir esos "guantes" de piel sobre mis orejas porque las acaricia con dulzura y pueden respirar mejor, además que facilita el que el tamaño de los auriculares sea más compacto. También puedo vivir con unos bajos extrapotentes, ya que cuando quiero "caña" están ahí, y prefiero que estén ahí siempre (incluso cuando no los necesito tanto) a no tenerlos en los momentos en los que sí los quiero. Es decir, las cosas "negativas" de estos auriculares se tornan en positivas en realidad. Y su diseño y calidad constructiva son simplemente exquisitos... ¿¡A qué estáis esperando!?

Ich wusste erst nicht ob ich diese Kopfhörer behalten möchte. Ich hab ein paar kritische Bewertungen gelesen. Fantastisch wie manchmal Leute keine Ahnung haben. Wer den m100 möchte aber vielleicht etwas mehr Bass wollte wird hier bedient. Wahrscheinlich der BESTE Bluetooth Kopfhörer den es gibt. Bitte nicht verwechseln mit Beatsschrott. Hierbei handelt es sich wirklich um Qualität. Wer sich nicht sicher ist soll zugreifen. (Für mich) perfekter klang. Tiefe Bässe, tolle Mitten und knackige Höhen.
