Quality replacement part. My tailgate latch broke and would not go into tge normal locked position. This part was the perfect easy and durable fix. I'm a female and installed this all my myself. I used 2 tools and had it installed in 8 minutes (includes removal of broken part). All pieces were in perfect alignment with holes. Easy to grip; smooth to release locking mechanism. Appearance is black with sone shine. Great value for the price.

Replaced broken tailgate handle/bezel on 2003 Chevy Silverado. Looks and functions like factory, and easy to install. Only difficulty I ran into was a rubber mat attached to the inner tailgate, covering the bolts. Took a few extra minutes, but it folded away and has nothing to do with a factory tailgate. Handle makes the tailgate work like new and the bezel finishes the look.

The latch was fairly easily to install. I do have a slight problem with the latch hanging open on the bezel when I open the tailgate now. But it’s functional, at a very reasonable price and it releases when you shut the tailgate. So, I can deal with it.

been fighting with a tailgate that did not stay closed all the time and finally checked out why, the old handle mechanism was binding and even though i got it to function by removing it and greasing it, it still had a hard time overcoming the bind so i ordered this for same day deliver and got it in ONE HOUR, amazing since i rarely am pleased with paying extra for a service that generally never comes true. it also comes with the bezel so for the price of both plus the extra for fast delivery this was a bargain and a relief. now it works as it should and i should have done this a lot sooner, easy fix at a great price. highly recommend.

Just snaps into place. Fits PERFECTLY. I ordered one from another seller on amazon and was flimsly and broke trying to install. This one was very sturdy and snaped in place and was exactly like factory. It pays to buy one Amazon endorses the first time.

So I have a pop lock on my 2001 Chevy Silverado LS truck bed for extra security. And it actually works good. So good that I forgot that it was locked and I pulled on the handle and snap! It broke in two. I was gonna go to the junk yard and just get an another handle, that’s if I could find one and also if it was in good shape. Then I started thinking about it and said forget it. Got on Amazon and found this one that came with a bezel. Can’t remember why I picked this one, but I'm glad I did. The look of it looked just like the original that snapped off on me. It feels sturdy and was easy to install. Probably about 10-15 minutes if even that. Now I did have to modify the pop lock to fit it, but no biggie. Just a quick bend of the metal and it’s back to locking my tailgate.

This was perfect fit for my 2004 GMC Sierra. It was easy to install and everything worked and fit perfectly. Edit: first time I washed my truck the cover fell off. I realized that it was just stuck on with a small piece of double sided tape. I glued it and it seems like it will stay put now.
