May need some trimming
Had to do some finessing but it did fit my Rock Island 1911

Not even worth 15 bucks
This won't fit a full size 1911. Doesn't fit around the trigger guard initially, can barely fit my finger in the guard with it attached, it isn't measured correctly to the frame so it bends downwards, and loosens up during firing. Gotta be one of the worst rail adapters, should be unlisted from Amazon not gonna lie

Didn’t fit, but wish it did
I bought this to put on to a normal 5” barrel 1911. It did not fit the frame in the slightest despite being made well. Unfortunately didn’t get to use it. I offered it to a friend and it didn’t fit his 4.25” 1911 due to the same issues. Possibly making this with a more common trigger guard mold would fix this issue since it didn’t work on two different branded 1911’s

Waste of money
Item didn't fit my 1911 tried to make it fit and only ended up breaking it.. cheap plastic.. only if the plastic was a lot more rigid like a polymer it would probably work 10 times better.. now I'm out 15 bucks .. cause I broke it trying to make it fit ..DO NOT BUY..and I shouldn't even given it a star ..

Need to heat it up to help it form to firearm
Just have to use a heat gun to help it take its shape to the firearm, after that it works fine

1911 rail adapter. Don't buy.
Neat idea, performs poorly. Even with slow and patient fitting to create a tight fit that won't move with hand force, it took recoil from only two 45acp shots to cause substantial movement that repositioned the rail to an unusable angle. You can make it look cool but I see no reliable use for this device on a firearm.
