How heavy is this please?

It’s just under 1kg - not as heavy as my previous dryer. I find it v manageable.

Regarding the heat sensor, i've never seen a light to show its on. does it come on instantly when activated? worried i have a dud. thanks

Mine does come on as soon as I press the button, it is a blue light on the top of the hairdryer and stays on even after being turned off and then back on again
