Like so many people, I started working from home quite a bit. That led to more phone calls from team members. It didn't take long for me to figure out that I couldn't hold my cell phone and work efficiently at the same time. I started searching for bluetooth headsets and ran across this pair. After reading 20 or 30 5-star reviews, I figured I should try them. I count on people being honest with their reviews and I knew I could return them if the reviews were a bunch of hog-wash. They weren't. I had very high expectations and these met those expectations. The Angteela bluetooth headset syncs to my phone or computer very easily and holds the connection all day. I only lost connection when I walked from my office on the second floor towards the back of the house to the mailbox down the driveway by the street. When I turned around and started walking back, it reconnected. I don't loose connection inside the house. The first day or two, I could only wear them about 2 - 3 hours at a time. It hurt my ear. Once I got them adjusted just right, I can wear them much longer. I usually wear them about 4 - 5 hours at a time just because of my schedule and that's how long I'm at my desk. They are very light and comfortable. The quality is very good for a headset at this price. It does not feel flimsy. It does not feel like it's going to break each time I put them on. It does not feel like the microphone is going to break off when I swing it up and out of the way. It may not be worth $100 but neither are the ones that cost $100. For the money, these are great. One last thing. The charging base. It's awesome. The headset just sits solidly on the base and charges. There are contacts on the base and on the bottom of the headset. You just set them on the base and the connection is made very easily. There's a red light for charging and a green light when it's charged. I used to lay my cell phone on my desk and set it to speaker. I couldn't hear the caller very well and the people I was talking to couldn't hear me very well. This headset fixes all of that. I can hear clearly and the person I'm talking to can hear me clearly, even when I'm saying things that aren't worth hearing. Great bluetooth headset. I highly recommend them. Honestly!!

The good: I find them comfortable to wear for hours in a row, the sound is descent, and the charge lasts all day. I purchased the first generation of this headset and it got me through covid, but eventually wore out. They upgraded the plug to USB-C on this newer model , so I am happy with the second generation overall. The not so good: The headset does not easily fit in the charger slot. The slot is a bit to small for the ear cushion and you have to play with it to make sure the charging connections line up. As an alternative you can plug it in directly. It also does not come with a charger, so you will need a basic USB power source or supply. It supports two Bluetooth devices, however I found it annoying to have it connected to my phone and my computer because when I walked away from my computer it kept beeping every minute or so to remind me it was not in range. I suggest using it for just one item or fully disconnecting before connecting to a second device. I am happy with it for what I use it for and would purchase it again.

I have been using this for about 3 weeks now and feel confident I know the good and bad sides of it. GOOD: * Very comfortable to wear. On the opposite side of the earpiece is a small soft rubber-feeling pad that is comfortable against my head. The metal band that goes over your head is light weight and doesn't exert too much force, which would be uncomfortable after wearing for hours a day. * Very good sound quality, both on what I hear through the earpiece and what I sound like to others. * Pairs in a matter of seconds to your device (a laptop in my situation). * Has a 1-ear design, which I prefer so I can still hear things being said to me in the room when I am on a call. My boss sits over the cubicle wall, so I need to hear him if he wants to add to the conversation I'm on. * Has a charging base so I don't have to have it laying around in random places while charging. * Satisfying little 'snick' sound when it's returned to the charging base. * Good battery life. I don't know how long, but sometimes I'm on conference calls for hours a day and I have never had to stop to recharge at an inconvenient time. * Power / multi-function button is not in the same place as the volume buttons, so you don't accidentally press one while trying to activate the other. BAD: * Well, no bad habits that I've noticed. When it was brand new, I had to wiggle it a bit to get it to seat into its charger, but after a few days of wearing it, the ear cushion compressed a little bit so it fits easily now. Quick Story: The second day I used this, there was someone else on the conference call that sounded garbled and I had a hard time understanding what he was saying. Since this headset was new and unfamiliar, I thought it might be the problem. Nope. I went back and listened to the recording of the call and everything I said was crystal-clear and sounded just like I heard it the first time. It was the OTHER guy that had a crappy headset. He was his own worst enemy using it. My headset was perfectly fine.

So, to lay it down as detailed as I can, I want to touch on some things that most of us are asking when looking for this. I use this headset for my job at a call center and have had zero issues so far with it. If anything happens in the future, I’ll be sure to update and check with support but they’ve been extremely responsive with questions I’ve asked so far. Audio Quality: The quality is considerably better than the headset provided by my job which speaks words considering how audio quality is a must for us. The quality is extremely good but I have yet to test it with music as it’s not my intentional use. My ringtone for my phone sounds pretty good as well (bass isn’t the main point here). Noise Cancellation: Little to no background noise comes through that ear and to be fair, it isn’t perfect as it only covers one ear but it does the job for isolating audio to the ear and making it extremely clear for the headset. Microphone Quality: Little to no background noise with the dual mic system and extremely high quality audio microphone. I’ve not had to clarify what I was saying to a customer nor anyone I’ve been on a call with since purchase. The microphone swivels 90 degrees both front and back to allow you to use it on either ear which is nice for if you manage to feel any discomfort from long usage. Build Quality: The build is extremely sturdy. The charger block is amazingly built and feels very durable. The charging cable included is a basic Micro USB cable and can plug into any USB-A outlet to provide a quick charge. The actual headset feels sturdy as well, with the swivel microphone feeling very tightly kept on its swivel axis. Charging: The charger is pretty sturdy, as I mentioned. The charging block is not exactly necessary as the headset can be charged directly on the side of the speaker as well. Charging is pretty fast with my 2.4A charger but will likely be slightly slower if not using a high amp charger bjt that’s the charger you decide to use at fault, not the headset. Battery Quality/Life: The battery has not died on me a single time from 7+ hours of use in a single session with a slight standby time in between. The battery is rated for 15 hours but I don’t think I’ll ever need to push it that far. Standby time is rated considerably higher. Comfort: The headset has produced zero discomfort in the hot climate I’m in. It’s comfortable and sits very nice on the head with a rubber piece on the other side from the speaker to provide more comfort. Some side notes, the volume buttons are located at the top of the speaker. One thing I did not notice until after reading the manual, mute can be initiated by hitting both at the same time. The multi purpose button on the microphone swivel axis is conveniently placed as well. All around great product for the price!

Overall, this is a decent headset. The main issue I've had with it, poor comfort and ear pain if worn for longer than an hour, is likely a subjective issue caused by the shape of my head and/or ears. For the quality and what you get with it, the price is reasonable. Pros: * Decent audio quality for voice use, both input and output * Reasonable noise cancellation; I received no complaints on the microphone, outside of being too quiet on one computer I used it on (resolved by boosting the microphone gain in Windows settings) * Good range, assuming no interference * Good battery life * Construction seems pretty solid, no looseness to the microphone boom or the adjustment band * The charging base is a nice touch, and has a good heft to it; uses a standard micro-USB cable to power the base and a set of contacts to charge the headset through, so no chance of damaging a charging port on the headset by putting it on the base incorrectly; headset is held securely in the base and can't easily fall out but can be removed easily * Headset can be charged without the charging base, also using a micro-USB cable; port is hidden under a flap for protection * Microphone boom can be rotated for use on either side of the head Cons: * The pressure of the earpiece against the ear makes my ear hurt after about an hour of use, requiring that I switch ears repeatedly back and forth in a longer conversation; I was unable to find a tightness setting for the adjustment band that held the headset on securely and also alleviated this * The earpiece doesn't get up quite as loud as would be preferred, and without an isolating design this will be tough to use in loud environments * The headset can be a little fidgety to seat in the base on the charging contacts * No integrated mute function * The headset tries to be both a communications device and a standard audio device, and will intercept standard computer or media audio if allowed; the speaker in the earpiece is in no way capable of anything more complex than voice communication and the occasional Windows sound effect

I decided to purchase this product based on the reviews, features, and comments about customer service. It was a great decision! I work from home and have to make calls; trying to use my ear buds or just the computer speakers was not cutting it and my clients could not hear me well unless I hovered DIRECTLY above my speaker which as you can imagine is extremely uncomfortable. I reached out to their customer support to register my lifetime warranty and spoke with Amy, who was very friendly and helpful. She was also very quick to reply, which was awesome. I feel like if I have any questions or issues, I can just send an e-mail and it will be resolved. I also love this style of headset, it feels very light while wearing it, which is crucial as I'm very prone to headaches from having something on my head like heavy glasses, headsets, headbands, etc. Call quality is fantastic! I'm able to hear my clients, and they can finally hear me clearly, which means I can focus more on the topic of the call rather than constantly worrying about if I'm being clear or not. The headset took me all of 2 minutes if that, to connect to my laptop and set up on the charger. It comes charged and ready to use, which I enjoyed. It's also cool that I can either charge it on the block, or just plug the headset directly into my laptop. Very user friendly, you don't have a million buttons with different functions. You have the main power/mute button on the earpiece, and a + and - button on the top to contol volume. It would be nice if I could move the mouthpiece outward rather than just up or down, but so far I haven't run into any issues where that would be needed. In comparison to the really expensive brands that I have used at other jobs; this stays connected, charged, and has consistent call quality. Those other ones would be a constant headache and we would have to rotate headsets to find one that was working. I highly reccommend this headset, especially if you work from home or in an office. You can use it for gaming chat as well.
