InStyler7X Smart Hair Blow Dryer

Good quality, but I have 3 complaints. 1) it doesn’t get hot enough 2) it keeps shutting off even when I am not pausing and 3) it’s too heavy.

Best blow dryer I have ever owned. It dries my hair so quickly and the heat setting are awesome. I can already tell a reduction in heat damage to my hair since using it. Highly recommend!

fast drying, light weight, can put it down and it stops and then resumes, smoothes my frizzy head especially from the roots up.

so many things wrong with this design I don't know where to begin. first, when you turn it on the motor comes on FULL BLAST so you have to reduce the intensity right away. second, buttons are SO DELICATE that you have to hold the handle from the bottom, which is unbelievably unwieldy, or risk constantly shutting it off or changing the heat intensity if you clasp the handle closer to the head where the flimsy buttons are. third, this bizarre 'auto-shut-off' function means if you tilt the hairdryer sideways (i.e. to dry other parts of your body) it shuts off! Seriously, if one were elderly or had arthritis or impaired motor skills, forget trying to use this thing.Giving it 2 stars b/c after a couple tries I was able to get my extra-thick covid-shut-down hair super smooth and nice. But it's too d*mn cumbersome and awkward to use. Returned it and settled for the cheaper 'TURBO' model -- results are not quite as good but the handle is comfortable and buttons easy to use. For 140 $mackers, you would think a simple ergonomic design would be part of the deal. Just fit this 7X motor into the TURBO casing and you'll have a great product. HARUMPH.

Yes! My $140 hairdryer died after less than one year of use! Had to take out my reserve $19 hairdryer that has lasted me years ugh

I just used it for the first time and it was amazing! I’ve never dried and straightened my hair so fast, this dryer has serious power. I am going to have to figure out how to avoid hitting the heat control on the back when I hold it. That would be my one complaint is that the controls are high up on the handle where I hold it, it’s really hard to hold the handle farther down and have any control. It’s very cool that it just turns off when you set it down and back on when you pick it up. As someone who sections and puts the dryer down a lot, it’s a great feature. I need serious heat to blow out my curls and this has it. The magnetic end is very nice too, I didn’t have any issues with it coming lose. Past dryers have been dropped etc and once the tip losses it’s tiny plastic holds its useless to me. I got this on sale for $70, and since I paid less I’m very happy. Had I paid $140 for it, the heat control issue might be a deal breaker.

Hair dryer cuts off all the time when I am using. Also do not like that it starts on the highest setting when turned on...
