great for doing lots repetitive short pulls
These things are great! Use them for short bumps. I have 4 of them laying all over the job. Don’t take up the space of a 100’ roll and are just perfect for 10-20’ flex runs. They push right through dang near any conduit. One side has a speed leader and the other just has a brass eye. A real time saver for my crew.

Amazing for fishing
It does amazing with 1/2 inch flex that is almost full which steel or other fiber glass fish tapes can’t get through. 10/10 always use this one and has lasted me a long time

Works great to install rear dashcam
I used this to thread the wire for a hatchback while installing the rear dash cam in my sons. Wish I’d bought it sooner!

Tough enough to stand up to my rage
Okay, so I didn’t want to spend a lot. I had an odd project and one of these was my only choice. I don’t know if I used the tip wrong or what, but I wound up having to tape my wire to this thing and then pull it through. That worked fine until the cable at the end of this somehow got stuck on something. It’s one of those things where if I wanted it to happen it was a one in a billion shot, but it happened when I didn’t want it to. Let’s talk about durability now, because at that moment I didn’t give one £*%# if I wrecked this, the wire, or pulled the house down. I yanked on this thing like I was pulling an elephant through a keyhole. This item held up very well to my rage. Very impressive. The cable did not kink or become misshapen. The cable is stiff enough to do the job, however that did prove to be irritating when I had to grab it with needle nose pliers to try and pull it through the tiny hole it was supposed to go through. Right angles are not this cable’s forte. But... I was eventually successful, and somehow this cable lived through it all. In fact, I’m gonna go throw up another star for durability.

Made fishing wire much easier
We were using bailing wire to fish wires through the firewall of our trucks, but this tool made it so much easier, totally worth the money in time and frustration savings.

Plastic!!
Picture looks like it’s wire, it’s not. It’s made out of plastic!

Great for running electrical cables in boats.
Used to run sonar transducer cable through hull. Worked like a champ. Why I never used one before is beyond me. Took all of 10 mins compared to 2 hours in the past.

This fish will only coil back into a cirlcle inside the walls.
Strong - Yes. Easy to use - No. If you are trying to fish something through a wall or somewhere you don't have full access to, forget this one. It is made of a strong metal or hard plastic or both but it always wants to return to its relax round shape. Curls as soon as you try to push it though. I managed to get this to work but I am sure it added 6 hours of time that I didn't want to spend. I should have just bought the steel fish.. at least that wants to go back into a straight form when you need it to.
