Pro: I purchased this originally because I was testing it for efficacy on keeping a large fountain in our community courtyard free of algae without using bleach. I'm allergic to bleach and they all seem to have some kind of detergent in them now which causes enormous suds to bubble up higher than the entire fountain area,. Although bleach will kill off the green algae, it is harmful to the hummingbirds that like to dip into the 3 tier waterfalls for a daily cleansing of their feathers. They don't drink the water, as they get all the liquid they need from nectar feeders here but they need to preen their feathers to fly accurately without risking drowning in birdbaths if they get waterlogged. This PureLife™ 12% Hydrogen Peroxide Food Grade with No Added Stabilizers product is less harmful, and I am careful to only put it in the fountain at night when the hummers have gone back to their nests to sleep (torpor). By the next morning, it will be safe for them to use again. I only use a third of a bottle at a time for the 6 foot fountain and it will take about a week for the green algae to disappear completely during summer months. This is because no one knew how to prevent the algae from forming without hurting the birds, so I spoke with the new apartment manager that I would be happy to donate maintenance of the fountain as a community service in order to keep the fountain and the birds healthy as long as no one kept adding bleach to it. That was our solution to keeping the stone fountain as a beautiful gathering place for us all to enjoy. I also have a personal small 3 foot fountain on my back porch that only needs less than 1/8 of a cup of H2O2 food safe hydrogen peroxide once every two weeks to keep it sparkling clean and safe for my hummingbirds. Remember, less is more so you will learn how much you need for your fountain. If it is located in full sun and very hot weather, algae will grow faster. Sorry for such a long review, but not everyone will use this product as I do, and it is also a great cleaner as advertised for normal sanitation purposes! Highly recommend it and the business owners for a quality seller and good ethics. Hope that helps folks decide if this is a good product for you. Con: It must never be used at the same time with bleach as H2O2 and bleach react in a poisonous gas. This includes toilets just so you know, every professional janitorial company will know this fact. Do wear disposable gloves for protection of your hands while using it. Read the directions prior to using it.

This is a good product. I added about 1/4 cup to about 12 oz Dawn. I knew I had just enough, as it turned the color of the Dawn to a deep purple color. My shower (we live in Florida) had sprouted black mold, and I am scared of that stuff. I used my Dawn/peroxide concoction right out of the bottle, applied it directly to the yuuuuuck. Smile. The Dawn basically acts as a thickener that helps hold the solution on. Well it fuzzed really well, as I chanted "Die, die". After 10 minutes, all I had to do was rinse it and my shower door was as good as new!! I'm glad I didn't have to touch it to scrub it. I, tonight, mixed about an 1/8 cup to about 1/3 cup of Persil. Then added water to top off an 8 oz spray bottle. Living in Florida, clothing gets sweat stained, and if it's not white fabric, you can't bleach it. So, I spritzed around the neck of a deep pink cotton night gown. You could see the stain changing as I sprayed it, with no fabric color change. The big test is my husband's white "Sun" shirt that will NOT bleach clean. So I spritzed the whole thing lightly and both are happily soaking overnight. I'll know more tomorrow, but the gray color in the sun shirt seemed to at least lighten. Fingers crossed.

Well after doing some research I decided that I would try something different and I was going to see about returning this item. I found out that Amazom/the company does not accept returns for this item. That is because the item is a regulated item it says when you try to return it. I am sure it is a great product, but I just felt like people should be aware that they cannot return it if they wanted to. I will be able to use it so its not that bad, but there are some better options out there I found out about. Keep your eye open.

I use this to bleach my teeth. It does not burn! I soak a Q-tip and brush my teeth
