Why does the lid concave after being sealed with paint thinner ? Will it eventually bust if I don’t release the pressure sucking the lid inward ?

just a chemical reaction to air-- I once thought it was a change in elevation when I moved. Its not a problem, Just open it carefully and when you put it away make sure the rim is clean. I have had mine for years and it doesn't break.its kind of comforting to see is sealed so the fumes are not gassing you.

How many fluid ounces is this?

jar is approximately 8-9 ounces but if you fill jar just to top of coil which is all you really need, it will require about 4 oz. of cleaning fluid.

Why did the price go up $7 only on Amazon in the last few days?

The same reasons that food is more expensive, gas is more expensive, and everything else is more expensive.
