Works as advertised and more.
An extremely easy rod to use. Muggy weld 77 does what it is supposed to. I never thought welding cast iron could be so easy for a novice. So far I have successfully welded 2 antique engine heads and a starting air compressor block all dating from the 1920's. I haven't tried to weld on AC nor DC+, but as suggested DC- it just flows on.

Fixed an old cast iron housing
Rod works good but isn't cheap. You get 4 rods for $65 but fixing a cracked transmission housing was worth it. Watch some videos before attempting unless you've done this before.

Muggy weld 77 electrodes
Excellent product! Had a crack in my engine block on my 96 7.3 powerstroke. Weldin rod worked as advertised and fixed my block saving me thousands of dollars! Best money i ever spent

Not for engine blocks!!
They are worthless for welding cast iron engine block!!!

Fantastic product worked perfectly
Used these on a cast engine block for my boat. There were several cracks in the block from previous owner not winterizing properly. These worked a treat and I'm not even that good at welding.

The worst I aver had don't buy after 40 years welding I know what I'm doing .

How easy it is to use!
My husband used it to repair a broken agricultural machine which was achieved with ease. He couldn’t believe how good this product was. The delivery time was excellent, much sooner than expected. Highly recommend Muggy Weld 77. It does what it says it does!
