This is a straight replacement for the F&P 847200 water filter. Easy to fit and followed instruction to draw 4 litres from water dispenser. The water dispenser drips and continues to do so for a couple of days. Manual suggests air in the line causes this and when you use the dispenser splutters for a couple of seconds. Issue does go away after a couple days but the F&P original filter doesn’t have this issue. Not a major one given the F&P is 4 times the price.

They are easy to install, last for months with no leaks, and are just as good as the official Fisher and Paykel…only substantially cheaper. The only downside is trying to replace them, they can be a bit harder to remove

This filter is a lot cheaper and a very good replacement for the original.

I was delighted to find this filter as it is considerably cheaper than the authorised F&P one - it looks identical. However, although fine at first it is now leaking badly - soaking a small hand towel placed underneath in about an hour. I am going to have to remove and replace with the much more expensive F&P spare part. Not so cheap after all ☹️

I used this to replace the original F&P one and I can't notice any difference other than the vastly lower price. I saw another review that mentioned a funny taste but it's not the case for me. I will repurchase based on the cost saving alone.
