If you've got a viney plant that likes to climb, these clips are just the ticket to get them started on your trellis, or whatever it is your plant is growing on. For years, we've been using improvised solutions to get our clematis started on its trellis each year (twist ties, twine, you name it). These cheap little clips are awesome to help those shoots get started, and they're much kinder to tender shoots than alternatives. I wish there were more small clips than big clips in the package, but that's OK. The clips themselves are not very sturdy; given their purpose, they are small and fragile. These are expendable items, cheap enough that you don't need to worry about breaking a few, or worry about collecting all of them you place. For service this delicate, it is expected that the clips will break or come apart with use. Nothing wrong with that; priced as they are, just buy a new box when you run out. Recommended.

Even the Florida sun didn't seem to affect them and I expect them to last several years. Every one of them is perfect so design and quality control are excellent. I'll not need to buy again because I have a small yard, but for anyone with a large number of plants, or a garden store, or a nursery this is a "must have" item! The green color makes them blend well with the plants. Being able to easily move and adjust them as the plants grow is great.

These are the greatest item you can find for holding your plants up in the garden. I live in South Carolina and the mosquitoes can make a meal of you while you are spending time trying to tie up your plants. With good plant stakes these clips make it easy and quick to support your plants where they are needed. Additionally you can quickly adjust the clip to a new position as needed. They are reusable and can be cleaned and used from season to season. I use two different sizes in my garden and would not think of gardening without them.

I have bought cheap plastic clips in the pass and hated them (mainly they're cheaply made and break easily). These are NOT like that at all. I use them on my trellis/cattle panels in my garden to hold up my tomatoes and cucumbers. They work great and it's nice to know that the sun isn't going to break down the plastic to where it will be a one season use only. The clip part is perfect for fitting on the wire of the cattle panel and the spot for the plant is large enough that I don't have to worry about it damaging the plant.

I found the large green spring clips to be easy and fast to attach my tomato plants to string or wire support. They hold secure, but the actual areas of use are very limited so other methods of support will be needed. The price of the small clips is not really justified in my opinion, because the smaller clips have almost no use due to their small size, making the final cost for the larger clips considerable more expensive. Another complaint I have, which may not bother some, is the green color makes the clips harder to see and certainly will be harder to find if reused.
