Review: Oppressor vs Oppressed - An interesting relationship - This is a great study guide for Freire's book. Having been translated from the original Portuguese, Pedagogy of the Oppressed presents the reader of the English translation with quite a number of comprehension challenges. These challenges are beautifully overcome in this short and concise study guide. It has provided me with a deeper understanding of relationships between the oppressor and the oppressed. The fact that the oppressed has a key role in the oppressor's liberation is quite profound. I recommend this study guide to anyone wishing to gain a deeper understanding of Paulo Freire's critical pedagogy.

If you are into Freire it's great, Wasier than actual book
I found it difficult reading and translating it to mainstream English for a class on Adult Learning was difficuly. However, easier than the actual book. I suggest buying, but not the easy discussion such as Cliff Notes were.
