Works on Visible Cell Plan
I got this phone on refurb from seller Macalegin. They really know how to rate their phone condition, because I ordered "excellent" condition and that's what I got in the mail. Plus everything functions correctly and they even respond back to e-mails, because I wanted clarification whether I was going to get an unlocked phone with the sim card/expansion memory tray. They replied back the next day and said they physically checked that yes I'm getting the unlocked Samsung Galaxy phone with both tray slots. Macalegin also sends the correct 2.0 A Samsung fast charger and USB cable, unlike other vendors that send the cheaper after market charger/cable that doesn't do the fast charge. There seems to be some confusion on whether the Samsung Galaxy S20 works with Verizon's mvno (mobile virtual network operator) Visible. So let me provide some visibility to this unclarity. Sorry for the pun, I couldn't help it 😊 The US factory unlocked Samsung S20 has the designator SM-G981U1 and works on the big three: Verizon, ATT, and T-Mobile, as well as their mvnos. US carrier specific models will have the designator SM-G981U and you must verify with the vendor that they are indeed unlocked. Verizon has their own variant SM-G981V with less RAM 8GB, instead of the factory 12 GB, and the tray only has 1 sim card slot, compared to the factory model that has the sim card slot AND an expansion memory card slot. Markets outside of the US have the designator SM-G980, SM-G981B, and SM-G981F. Canada is SM-G981W, China is SM-G9810, and Korea is SM-G981N. These models may only operate on 4G LTE and have 8 GB RAM, depending on which one you get. The Galaxy S20's debut is March 2020, so keep in mind that this phone is getting a little long in the tooth technology wise. But it still does the basics well and is a rare beast in that it still has memory expansion if you take lots of pics or download huge pdf files. I installed the Visible sim card in the factory unlocked Samsung Galaxy S20 today, connected to wi/fi at McDonald's (thanks McDonalds free wi/fi), checked and installed updated software, opened the Visible app to activate the phone, and then restarted the phone. Everything works like a champ!! Two pics are included to show Visible locked onto the 5G signal without issue. Don't forget to call your voice mail and set that up also. Updates work good and Im currently on Android 13 OS. The only issue I noticed so far is that the voice mail icon that shows you have voicemail is missing in the top left corner, so you have to check your voicemail if you missed a call. Final thoughts: Make sure you get the correct phone sent to you, because there are different variants of this model that may or may not work with your cell provider. Last available phone with WL charging and SD card
As the title says, there is not many options for WL charging and SD card in newer phones with Android 11 and up. Besides this phone, only Sony but they cost $800 and up. This one was $180 which is hard to beat. I have had it for over a month and it works great. Overall. Cons: 1. The finger reader under the screen is really bad. My old LG had it on the back and it was 100% reliable and super fast. You grab the phone and it's ON. With the Samsung, it's hit and miss. Maybe 50% success and you have to look where you put the finger and how. It's not intuitive at all and makers should go back to normal readers. 2. The face recognition is useless as the camera has to face you and you have to face the camera. Forget unlocking the phone while on the table (must be tilted first), or next to your body. Or if you wear sunglasses. Or with facial cover (in winter) or while you drink or eat... I would take back or side fingerprint reader any time. And no, Apple is not any better. 3. The USB port is very loose and detaches from USB cable (many tested) with the slightest touch. Forget charging in your bag. 4. The camera app is not user friendly. Like you have to switch between photo and video settings to take video. My phone 10 yrs ago had a dedicated video button in photo settings for a quick video snap. 5. The general UI is wonky. Not my first Samsung but I don;t remember the last one S6 was this bad. Pros: Besides the charging and SD 1. It's small 2. It doesn't lag. It has 12 GB RAM. Much better than most of new phones. 3. It's cheap! It's so much better deal than virtually any new cheap phone and better than new phone double or triple its price. So, even with the shortcomings, it's a clear 5 stars

Great phone. Runs smoothly but may become outdated dud to updates
Haooy with my purchase. Only downside is the phone no longer gets support from Samsung so the most current update is from March 2025. Saya that the device is tested for 80% battery life but I'm not sure on that. With low brightness and only frequently using the device it drains from 100 to about 64 in a hour or two.

Not Verizon, as listed. Have to return.
Not a Verizon phone. Received today. Packaging, and exterior- all in good condition. But this is listed as a Verizon phone, but it is not. My SIM worked, and a lot of things seemed to work. But Verizon does not have a download able voicemail app. It's only installed on legit Verizon phones. So I have no way of even seeing I got a voicemail unless I called my voicemail (*69) and typed in my pin and listened to the entire thing with the lady listing out each phone number, etc. So if you listen to your voicemails- you MUST get a Verizon branded phone. There is no app. I will be returning tomorrow on hopes of *actually* getting a Verizon phone, as this was listed. Packaging was good, came with a cord and plug and looked nice, and like they cared about reputation. But Verizon users must have Verizon phones. I'm unsure if all brands are like this.

1000% better than expected, but needs at least 1 edit :)
although charger looks great, it gave an alert it's not right for phone. other than that, it appears this seller is getting it together, my order is very satisfactory, at least. I'd say almost excellent condition, if not. it is working perfectly with Mint Mobile, no difficulties, Samsung switch makes it so easy, this "new" gem is really not much different than the new s23 variants, & I wouldn't pat an extra grand anyway for a "new" phone. this particular seller & Amazon renewed both get my 5* stamp of approval! I've only has the phone a few hours, but already ordered all the needed protection. so, the phone was my only concern. I was certain I'd get a Verizon locked device in poor condition. instead, I indeed have an unlocked and very good condition older flagship. pretty sure it's a s20+ 5g as well. 12 gigs ram, expandable storage, snapdragon 865, the works is all here. great seller & between this & the tcl 10 5g uw (Verizon only) I will use Amazon renewed indefinitely, with the certainty that if anything ever isn't actually wonderful, Amazon would make it right. I am thankful! If Samsung doesn't send a slowing signal, or if this doesn't end up being stolen property (as some have), I look forward to years with this device! thank you...... so edit: few days with phone I have figured out mine is ATT version. stuck android 12 one ui 4.1. won't go android 13. haven't tried voice-mail. there's other things I can't think of but as long as this is all, I should be fine. I'm sure I'll find more I like & dislike about this purchase. but I'm satisfied for now. Maybe final edit:? OK so, it's got issues with charging port, sometimes connects sometimes doesn't. the block they sent doesn't work at all. the phone auto updates EVERYTHING randomly. things I've deleted or force stopped. &....I'm worried it will go black & just stop working soon like the others. why no Android 13 One UI 5.0? I got worthless screen protectors I've already returned, case is OK I bought, & I don't want to lose $220 because I was too nice to return an Att bootloaded version that won't get software or security updates.......jeez. Aren't all S20s & newer supposed to get Android 13? yea...sad.

Very good condition
Samsung Galaxy S20 5G, 128 GB, Cosmic Gray — Unlocked (Refurbished). It was in very good condition; it looked brand new. It was well worth the purchase.

Still holding it down like a champ
I bought this phone a while ago thinking I’d upgrade in a year. It’s been way longer than that and I still haven’t. Why? Because this thing refuses to die. Battery life? Still decent. Not “two days straight” decent, but enough that I don’t have to live next to an outlet like a phone gremlin. The screen? Stupid nice. Everything looks crisp and buttery smooth. I scroll through apps I don’t even use just because it looks cool at 120Hz. Camera? Way too powerful for someone who mostly takes blurry pics of their food and accidental front-facing selfies. Still, every once in a while I take a photo that makes me question if I should become a travel influencer. It’s fast, it still runs everything, and it hasn’t exploded yet. That’s a win in my book. If you’re on the fence about grabbing one used or keeping the one you’ve got—trust me, it’s still got fight in it.

Nice phone, but slippery and expensive to replace the front glass
We just upgraded from our old S7's to these S20's. Love the additional power of the phone, the battery life is easily double the old S7 (even with more frequent use during the day than what we typical did on our S7's). Screen resolution is super, camera is great. The things we didn't like are: - the phone is slippery, especially with the curved front glass on the long edges of the phone - the slim/lightweight style phone cases that protected the S7 won't protect the front glass on the S20, so you either have to never drop your phone, or you have to get a heavy, bulky phone case, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a thin, lightweight phone - depending on how you're holding the phone, the curved edge can allow the phone to think that your holding fingers are actually trying to touch the screen and get interpreted as finger presses, which can lead to unexpected things happening on the screen or no action at all when you try to press a screen button or scroll with your other hand (because nothing happens since the phone thinks your holding finger is doing something). So you have to hold the phone the 'right way' to make sure the screen works. Unlike Steve Jobs, I don't think you should have to hold your phone a 'certain' way in order for it to work correctly. - The curved edges make the front glass easy to shatter if you drop it front-glass down (see attached pic). Even with this little damage to the screen, the screen is half white, which makes the phone completely non-functional. - It costs *more* to replace the screen than to buy a new phone (as of 10/26/22, screen replacement is $270, and the new phone with tax is $230). - The phone doesn't support a micro-sd card. - The phone doesn't have the nifty blinking blue/red/green LED on the S7 that let you know if you had a missed call, notification, or low battery. I miss that feature. So, while it is a great phone and screen, the practical issues involved in everyday use fall short. We can't recommend this phone. We are now looking at the S20 FE, which has a flat screen like the S7, a plastic backside (unlike the S20's glass backside), which we think will be a much better choice for our needs. Note that the S20 FE as a new phone cost less than the S20, but the refurb'd FE's cost more than the refurb'd S20's. I think this is the marketplace voting that the FE is a better practical phone than the S20 flagship. And the FE front screen replacement only costs $150, which is a deal since you are much less likely to break the glass on the FE.

Impresionante calidad-precio
Llevo aproximadamente un mes con el celular, todo ha funcionado bien, los primeros días se calentaba un poco, cambie la calidad de la resolución de pantalla y ya no se calienta. Recibí un celular de buena calidad por un precio muy económico. Me encanta
