I made the switch from vinyl to digital and was looking for a high quality hybrid mixer / controller that would allow me to incorporate audio from a variety of sources into my mixes. This controller is probably the best you're going to find. One reviewer I read called it the "swiss army knife" of controllers. Still tying to figure out some of all that it can do. Out of the box I can do basic things. Plug and play does not work to smooth with the headphones. I may have to read the book to get it right.

Hi All my son bought the denon mc6000 for me through amazon/azimzik on the 4th august 2011 when i tried to operate it there was no power we realize the adapder was faulty because i live in trinidad west indies its not easy to return the item so we bought a new adapter we are now seeing lights but it still not working...controlling vertual dj......seems as if we have purchased a faulty piece of equipment and lost our money

I'm a working DJ that has used this controller for approx 50 gigs last year. First off- I LOVE this as a controller. It is compact, and built solid, and controlls software tightly. The problem I had (and others-search it) is with the sound card being a little sub par. To get around it, I actually now run a Komplete 6 external card (Sound difference is HUGE)and just use the controller as such without the soundcard. The added expense is worth it to me because I really do love the feel of it, and the layout is great. This controller is a few years old now- Thinking there's a better version on the way?

Love it. Price was excellent since it was $150 less then the cheapest one I found. Received it on time.

This a an awesome piece of equipment! I am now 100% digital which for me ia alittle scary after having cds as a back up however this controller is very dependable so I am confident and we now have two of them. Very user friendly, just be sure to read all info and pay attention to all comments posted by others on initial setup or you will not get sound/quality you want!!! Watch YouTube videos, they are VERY helpful. Configuration is a little tricky and videos are detailed on this.

This is a great unit for beginners and pros a like. I am a DJ Entertainer of over 20 years and this thing is awesome. Not only can you use it as a 4 track controller with your laptop but you can use analog sources as well.(I use them for back up) Nice solid construction and feel. Looking forward to getting my hands on the newer version, but at the right price might still consider a 2nd one of these.
