Do your own guitar work!
Nice kit, good for home use for minor adjustments

Comprehensive kit
I decided to try my hand at light guitar maintenance. Nothing crazy, but I wanted to learn how to do a simple fret polish, intonation and action adjustments etc. This is a great kit for a beginner like me, and I would imagine someone more advanced could certainly benefit from this. My 15+ year old electric guitar has smooth frets again. I fixed a nagging intonation problem, and set the action exactly where I want it. The frets and fretboard on my 17 year old acoustic look and feel brand new after a polish and thorough oiling All without paying a guitar tech $100-150. Will I still use guitar techs for big jobs? You bet! Iโm a novice. But this already saved me money and let me learn a few new skills. (I also purchased fret polish and fret oil separately)

A fair price for fundamentals.
I shopped for this item with many other contenders. If you want as many tools as possible then there is the compromise of cost. Looking back and if I had to do it again I would have purchased items separately. Yet, I must confess that these tools did the job. The quality varies and we are not talking top of the line, but in all fairness you get 99% of what you need to do a set up. It works as a first purchase and then as you do more set ups you may add or replace some items. For the money I am satisfied and if you are not as finicky as I am you may even be delighted.

Overall okay for what you pay for. Wire cutters suck, very cheap, dull and donโt cut.

Great Kit!!!! I would recommend that beginners take a course in guitar maintenance and repair before using this kit.

Decent Entry Level Kit fir DIYer
Decent entry level kit for the DIY type. Low cost is reflected commensurately in the quality of the components. Despite the picture, the components do not all have their own home, and you have to just jam many of them in loose which seems slap dash.

Not worth it
I was disapointed, the tools were covered in some kind if oil from the factory, they are badly crafted and the action ruler (which was the part I manly bought the kit for) was in cheap cardboard and didn't show the same informations as in the pictures. Save your money to buy individual tools instead.
