Speck Products Compatible Phone Case for iPhone 8 Plus/iPhone 7 Plus, Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grip Case, Clear/Clear (136230-5085)

The clear shows off the color of my phone. The grips on the side help to make sure that it does not slip out of my hand.

I love Speck cases, and have been using them exclusively for years for my iPhones. While I still love the durability of this case, I was not expecting the entire thing to be hard plastic. On other Speck cases, the diagonal lines are made of rubber, allowing for an easier grip. This case is all hard plastic, making it slippery in my hand, on surfaces, etc. Even the rubber around the front edges and button areas are not as grippy as previous colors and sizes. Still durable and protects my phone (so far), but definitely not a favorite.

Bought this for my teen daughter to replace a previous cracked clear case. The grips are great. The case is very durable and looks new after 6 mos!

As other reviewers have stated, the case can be hard to grip at times. That said, it is very strong and does a great job of protecting your phone. It would be perfect if it had some kind of rubbery gripping stuff on the exterior, but then it probably wouldn't be clear. I love how it shows off the red color of my iPhone 8 Plus. I could not find anything better when I was looking at cases. Recommended.

It’s a good case but I just wish it wasn’t so slippery. Even when it’s on a hard surface it can slide a little. The buttons are a little hard to push and it slips in my hand. Better off with another version of their cases

Love Speck cases! The weird thing about this one is that the “ribs” on the case aren’t grippy like with other colors. So on some surfaces the case is slippy and slidey. But the front raised part is grippy. Not sure why they made the back different.

I got the clear version to replace a black case I've had for a couple of years. The 'ribs' on the black one were tactile/sticky, meaning they were rubberized, so you could have much better grip with it. The ribs on this clear case are hard plastic, the same as the rest of the case so the ribs are not grippy. It's of course better than no case at all, but if you are looking for those grippy ribs like with the other colors, then don't get this one.

Love this case. Sturdy and durable protection for your IPhone. I had the same one in the past in black. I like the look of the clear one much better. The ridges on the side and back gives you good grip. I would definitely recommend.
