Excellent product, keep them dry for a good seal, and reuse to your heart's content.
These silicone stretch lids are fantastic! I still had some of the old plastic/elastic stretch lids that had not became too stretched out, stained, or just unusable when they start to flake, but upon using these, I have tossed them all in the trash. There is nothing to dislike here: they don't flake, and they are much easier to wash thoroughly because there are not bunched up bits by elastic--no elastic at all!. The only downside I've seen so far is that they and the item being covered must be completely dry to create the seal. This can be tricky if you are covering a slightly warm dish before placing it in the fridge. That said, they still provide a seal, unlike the old plastic stretch lids, so even wet, they are superior to those. It is important to select a size that is slightly smaller than the thing you want to cover. This means a bit of stretching and pulling, but the resultant seal is well worth the minimal effort required (it's thin silicone, so it stretches relatively easily, and there are handy tabs you can pull to get the seal you want). Over all, a great product. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Save earth from plastic with these
Been on a recent resolution to minimize single-use plastic. From the reviews, I was not sure what was I going to get. The package arrived all intact with no damage to the product-first win! Became a fan after the first use- second win. Did not tough the saran wrap ever since I got these. They are great and go on any container, plastic, ceramic, porcelain irrespective of their shape. You just need to make sure the container edges are dry before slapping these on. I think they have a good balance between plasticity and elasticity. Been using them for more than six months now and been really happy so far. Just recently, notice one had some damage to the edge but can't remember how that happened. But even that did not affect the performance. Certainly recommend. Going to buy another set for my sister who was amazed by them too.

Great product but...
Feeling environmentally conscious, I went online looking for a product to replace my plastic wrap. This looked perfect: durable, (somewhat) stackable, clear so I can still see what is in the bowl & when I tried it, it worked great! Yeah, yeah, yeah! So what's the problem? Plastic wrap fits anything. These, though they have flexibility & stretch, are limited to the size of the lid. I bought the variety pack. I had 2 identical bowls of leftovers. I covered one, realized I only have one of each size, so needed to transfer food to a plate that matched the size of a remaining lid. So it's limiting in this sense. I DO like the product and plan on buying more but I can't stop buying plastic wrap because of the limitations of this. I have no idea how to solve this problem (I consider it a problem) but I'd love to buy the product that could. Oh, another nit picky negative- these things take up more room than a box of plastic wrap.

Great Idea, Could Be More Durable
I purchased these a few years ago after a clip popped up in my feed about food storage products (yes, that is how boring my feed is). They looked sustainable, durable, and included lots of sizes. It seemed liked a great idea, so I ordered them on the spot! They arrived promptly and I put them in the โperfectโ place where I would remember to use them every day. Of course, I then immediately forgot all about them. I have a bad habit of out of sight, out of mind, especially when it comes to impulse gadget buys. They reemerged last month during a deep clean of my pantry; tucked in a back corner among the debris of half used aluminum foil rolls and stray ziplock bags. Score! They were still in the unopened, vacuum sealed package they came in, like finding a $20 bill in the pocket of your winter coat the first time you wear it for the season. This time I started using them right away and I was ready to give them a long-overdue, glowing review after a couple of weeks. That was until the smallest one ripped while I was putting it over a container of my dogโs food. The lid hadnโt come into contact with any sharp edges and I wasnโt over-stretching it. I hadnโt even run it through the dishwasher because I had been hand-washing it. It just ripped. I still think this product is a great idea. It has a sticky quality that helps it cling closely to whatever you are covering with it. The tabs make it easy to pull over the rims of your containers, and it is much better than throwing away plastic wrap or foil after just one use. I am going to keep using these and I hope the rest of my lids prove to be more long-lasting. But, I do have to take off a couple of stars for the one that ripped.

Great alternative to saran wrap!!
I bought these over 2 years ago and came back for more. They work wonderfully for most things, and the variety of size helps cover nearly anything. I've found that they work best on solely round containers, and I need to use one just slightly smaller than the diameter of the opening. Otherwise they struggle to stay on. As for washing, they are dishwasher safe so I can toss them in the top rack if I've got a not-so-full load, but if it's packed in there, these tend to fold over. (I tend to just hand wash for this reason and it's really a big nothing). I'm on a search to find more of the smaller sizes, as they always seem to be in the fridge on something!

Great, long lasting lids
I've had these (plus 2 square lids) for over 3 years now and they are amazing. It takes a minute to get used to putting them on your containers (the container needs to be dry and you need to find the right lid for the size) but they have saved me LBS in plastic wrap! They are dishwasher safe in the top rack which is nice. We use them in the fridge, freezer, or to keep cookies on the counter. The only issue we've had the 3 years is after about 2.5 the one square lid SNAPPED. Completely ripped in one corner. I don't know how that happened, but it did. Might have had a defect in it that got worse and worse after years of use until it finally gave away. Regardless, that's pretty good odds considering how often I use these.

Great for replacing ageing glassware lids
If you are a user of the Pyrex-style food storage containers, and have been annoyed by the way the plastic lids start to crack apart and fail, then these lids are what you're looking for. I've been using them for a few months now, and after an initial learning curve I really like them. I also have another set from a different maker, but I like these ones better because they fit my glass dishes perfectly (the others require a bit more stretching, which makes them a little more prone to coming off when the dish is wet, as happens when you take it out of the fridge and then try to put it back). The learning curve was basically just realizing that, even though these things are super stretchy, you shouldn't stretch them much if you want to use them. This set of lids is sized so that each one fits very well on one of the pyrex glass dishes. Don't try to make them fit a size larger than the one they're sized for! If you stick to the right dish/lid pairing, these are great. If you try to stretch them too far, they'll stick the first time you put them on, but if there's a molecule of water anywhere under the edge they slip off. Also, the extra-large lid is excellent for proofing dough in my favorite dough bowl. It's exactly the right size to fit with minimal stretching, and as the dough rises, the gases it releases pooch the lid up so that the dough never touches it, even if it gets above the rim of the bowl. Overall, I highly recommend this lid set if you're a Pyrex user.

Work great, absorb odors
In some ways, these are 5 stars. In others, however, they are 1 star. Depends on what is more important to you, I suppose, as to whether you will like them or not, as well as how you use them. The easily fit on a wide variety of bowls. I loved not using plastic wrap. The silicone stretches so that you are best off choosing one that is slightly smaller than the bowl. They don't come off easily and kept my ingredients fresh. The first time I used them, I put them on a bowl of cucumber salad. Two days later, I washed it and put it with the other ones. A few days later, I went to use one and it smelled like cucumbers. Huh? It wasn't even the same one I'd used. I pulled them all down and smelled them. Every one smelled of cucumber salad. I washed them. No change. Soaked in baking soda. No change. Left them in the California sunshine with baking soda. No change. Put them in a container with charcoal. No change. So. I can use them on cucumbers, or I can use them on stuff that smells stronger - such as Indian food - and they won't be a problem. Then they will smell like Indian food, I imagine. If you use them on things that have little or no odor, they will be great. If you use them on similar food - say all spicy food with a similar taste profile - they will be great. If you want to use them on a variety of foods, you might not like them as much.

Took a punt and I'm pleased I did
Purchased to try to reduce use of cling film. Great set, wash really easily and work very well. Only used on circular bowls and plates so far but had no problem with one with a lip so I think square dishes won't be a problem. They are pretty thick and grip well as long as the dish isn't too wet on the outside. No problem using them in microwave; just fold a bit of the cover under and they work well and stick so well you can use it to strain water out of the cooked vegetables.

Throw out your cracked plastic lids for your glass bowls
I've had these for only a week, but so far so great. I have the square silicon covers that I have liked, but silicon won't stick if there is moisture (read condensation) on the bowl. Because these lids have a horizontal circle with a vertical band, it hugs the bowl (I still dry it). I have used these on oblong and rectangular bowls by using a size slightly smaller than needed so it can stretch and create a seal. I can put them over hot food and not worry about plastic chemicals leaching into my food, or what plastic I am clogging the landfills with. I like that these kids are clear, making it easier to identify what is in the bowl.

Good quality and does the job
Good quality lids that do what they should. Havenโt found them at all difficult use as long as you use the right size for the right utensil. Great way to cut back on use of plastics.

Works great! Solves problem of missing lids!
Great product. Nice variety of sizes to cover bowls. I've only handwashed so can not comment on dishwasher safe. Easy to put on containers.

These work great! I wish it was possible to order more ...
These work great! I wish it was possible to order more of one size - would be nice to be able to use them for multiple same-sized bowls. One of them has torn already, but that could be my fault from trying to stretch it too far over a larger bowl than it was intended for.
