Eagle BHP 1612H Engine Motor Mount (Front Right 1.8 L For Honda Civic)

I bought this passenger side motor mount for my 2008 Honda Civic Dx because the original one broke. Fit finish is great. Construction seems excellent. It fit perfect in my car and works just like the original at a fraction of the price. I waited to write this review because i know these motor mounts dont usually last. This one has been in my car for over six months and its still holding up as it did on day one. I do have to say the additional top metal piece that came with it was NOT NEEDED I used the original one.

This motor mount has lasted for over 143,000 miles and is still good, stock mount was replaced after 65,000.

Item looked just like the original, however, te bolt holes were just a fraction off, so would not fit. I had to take a round file and slightly widen the holes to allow both bolts to go thru and thread into lower bracket. With that minor adjustment the engine mount works fine.

Do not do not do not buy this cheaply cast junk. Bought this mount August 12 and installed shortly after. I work at a dealership and had a technician friend of mine install it. November 18 the top aluminum casting snapped in two. My civic's engine was sitting on the crossmember with sparks flying from the crank pulley. Luckily where it happened was an automotive shop close by where they had it fixed for me the next day. A new factory oem mount, new drive belt, torque arm, and $800 later i got my car back. I wanted to save a few bucks and costed me hundreds more in the end. Do yourself a favor and buy the OEM Honda mount (even though personally i think that one is junk too but at least the casting won't snap on you.)

If I could give 0 stars I would the product didn't fit. Right out of the box it did not line up properly and is a waste of money because I didn't even get a chance to use it do not buy even with trying to modify it, it still can not be made to fit
