Fun, as long as you know its limitations and use them for fun
Ultramax 400 is grainy and contrasty in strange ways that can be fun if you get the right exposure. Dark regions can sometimes be way darker than real life, underexposed shadows can be deep black, overexposed highlights can end up white and blown out really easily. Underexposed shots can have odd green or yellow casts depending on the colors and lighting, and some random colors can punch their way through brightly which is fun.The three attached photos were all taken with Kodak Ultramax 400 on a Minolta SRT 201 with the 50 mm f/1.7, and I just used the built in meter and overexposed by half a stop or so. For the cat photo and the clouds and trees scene I used a good photo lab that has a NICE scanner - this makes a huge difference for the shadows. I think the flowers and powerlines in the sky were developed and scanned at Walmart - definitely less dynamic range and weaker color. I adjusted all three of them just a little bit for color cast / white balance.Note: this product is 24 shots per roll. You'll pay the same price for developing and scans at most labs for 24 or 36 shot rolls. So, if you buy these 24 shot rolls you will end up paying more money per shot. By a lot. The main advantage to the smaller rolls is that you can change them out more quickly if your rolls are each small experiments / projects that are more fun limited to 24 shots instead of 36. Honestly, I dont know why anyone would buy 24 shot rolls. I bought these by accident, and had intended to get 36 shot rolls.

Works great for on the cheap everyday film
I’ve shot through at least 7/10 rolls now and have not had an issue yet. Pictures turn out great after development. Now I just need to upgrade a lense and scanner 😅

I love the price for all of these rolls of film! I'm sorry, I haven't had any demographer as of yet, but PUH-LEASE!!! These are Kodak!! I already KNOW they'll be great ... I just hope I remember enough to create great pictures! LOL

Great color but not a good gift
Love this film and the color, but I just don't like that it's 24 pictures. I brought this by mistake thinking it was 36 pictures.

Same old film!
Great film, too bad the price has went up ;(Aside from that, works well and is easy to develop like any other film.

Arrived Quickly... Even during a Pandemic!
Ordered these for my girlfriend and I to tie us over with some decent color film during this COVID-19 Pandemic as the price was $70 CDN for 10 rolls of 24 exposures. This isn't the most "pro" color film you can get... But for $7 a roll and free delivery with Prime, I'm extremely satisfied.

Good Product
Came in a timely manner, love this film and is the only film that I shoot with, works out to about $6/roll opposed to the $8+ I have been paying per roll when I buy in 3's. Adds up when you're shooting lots.
