Q: Can this produce be safely used on the face?

I can’t see why not, it’s like a soap when mixed with water, I was also given this by my vet to bathe my dogs foot when she had a wound

Vet recommended hibiscrub to keep open wounds clean on 1 of our dogs. Needs to be diluted, 1 to about 10 parts water, I think. Perhaps best to ask your own vet.

Q: once opened how long can it be used?

You can use it up to expiry date on bottle which is quite long. The one I have lasts until 2024.
