When I first saw this item up close, I was a bit disappointed because it wasn’t exactly what I expected. However, once it was fully installed, I realized it does the job well. It completely stops drafts from coming in under the door, exactly as designed. My only minor complaint is that I wish the foam inserts were made of a heavier, more rubber-like material instead of soft foam. That said, it was easy to assemble, simple to install, and overall effective. I would recommend this product and would purchase it again if needed.

Bought one a few years ago. Purchased another one recently because I changed offices and couldn't remove it without damaging the finish on the door. Was okay leaving it - it did a great job of keeping the field mice out of my office. :-)

Very difficult to put the pieces together, but after you can put it it works very well under the door. I installed it in my daughter's room and so far it's perfect. It's been almost a week and I haven't had any problems with the adhesive. I had to cut the size because it was bigger but it was already expected.

Quick and easy install following clear picture directions. Slides over the welcome mat inside the door (if you have a mat), as long as you set it on the mat to get the right depth before sticking to the door. Blocks under door drafts nicely. Because it is attached to the door, (but removable), it works more consistently than the separate, bean-bag style I've used before, that you have to kick back into place each time you open and close the door.

I purchased them because I used a pillow to stop draft and try to suppress noises. I like because it fit and was easy to install. I didn't use the tape, I drilled it in place because I removed the one that didn't work. I don't smell anything coming from anyone else's place. Oh, and my dog hasn't chewed on it yet.

Are you like me? Do you have door drafts? Do you hate using rubber or plastic draft stoppers that come apart easily? Can you not use weighted ones that sit on the floor because your dogs use them as toys? ARE YOU TIRED OF BEING COLD? Then try this. It's flexible so it won't break like the solid material ones (rubber/plastic). It attaches to the door so your stupid dogs can't run away with it. It's lightweight so when you open and shut the door it doesn't get damaged from the friction of moving along the floor. It's the best darned draft stoppers I've ever used! It does, however, have two potential cons. 1) It's not low profile, meaning it does stick out a bit from the door. Not much, and it doesn't bother me at all, but it might look kind of funny to some because it doesn't fit flush against the door. I personally don't care and neither should you but I wanted to mention it in case you're an appearance snob. 2) The adhesion wasn't the best to my wood door and it started to peel off. I fixed the problem by using a staple gun to securely attach it. That doesn't bother me because the function of this draft stoppers is far more important to me than having a few staples in an 80-year-old wooden door that's seen better days anyway, but it might be an issue for people with fancy doors who don't own staple guns. A+ and 5 stars from me and my warm dogs who have found other things in my house to chew on.

We have large gaps under all of our doors and live in Maine so it’s crucial we seal our house in the winter. These work great so far and keep the drafts out. Installation was easy and the adhesive strips went on smoothly, and are holding strong. I had to cut one of them but the material made that easy as well. The only complaint is that the foam was somewhat annoying and time consuming to fit through the sleeve but once it’s in, it’s mint. Definitely happy with these and I would buy again.

Excellent product

I was almost put off by the negative reviews such as hard to install, cheap, flimsy etc. But I took a chance and bought it anyway. I couldn't be more pleased with the product. The concept is simple - no drilling/screwing required to install it. I installed it on my screen door which had a large gap at the bottom and allowed cold air into the area between the screen door and the front door. It's adjustable for height, attaches securely and works very well to block cold air. However, I can see that it wouldn't be effective for blocking noise as some have complained. But that was not my purpose. I'm glad I took the chance with it!

Door sweep worked perfectly to stop drafts from underneath an exterior garage man door. Super easy install. Took 5 minutes or less.
