When I first saw this item up close, I was a bit disappointed because it wasn’t exactly what I expected. However, once it was fully installed, I realized it does the job well. It completely stops drafts from coming in under the door, exactly as designed. My only minor complaint is that I wish the foam inserts were made of a heavier, more rubber-like material instead of soft foam. That said, it was easy to assemble, simple to install, and overall effective. I would recommend this product and would purchase it again if needed.

This product works great to seal a gap at the bottom of your door! It is easy to install in minutes and, in my case, I did not even have to trim it for it to work. It looks nice and, unlike the draft stoppers that you slide on and have a roller on each side, these to not interfere with the door working properly (the others tend to slide and catch in the door jam). This stopper also stays in place because it uses a hook and loop method to secure the stopper to the door. Using this method allows you to easily remove the stopper from the door for cleaning. Really like this product and would buy again!

Squeezing the foam into the sleeve was a bit fiddly and frustrating but I eventually figured it out. I think I was just frustrated because I wasn't in the mood for any self assembly, I assumed it would arrive ready to go.. But after my initial impatience the draft stopper was easy to stick to the door and has worked quite well ever since. We are thinking of it as a budget and temporary measure until we find or make something more aesthetic looking, but the black material is tidy and not distracting until we get around to changing this. It does the job, is good value for money and fit just fine. If you need to cut yours shorter: it's easy.

Quick and easy install following clear picture directions. Slides over the welcome mat inside the door (if you have a mat), as long as you set it on the mat to get the right depth before sticking to the door. Blocks under door drafts nicely. Because it is attached to the door, (but removable), it works more consistently than the separate, bean-bag style I've used before, that you have to kick back into place each time you open and close the door.

Installation was a piece of cake and the product works as advertised for blocking drafts and light. DO NOT buy if you are expecting noise reduction unless you already have a sound deadening door and other acoustic treatments—NOT helpful as a stand-alone noise reduction solution. Using this product with a regular interior door has little to no impact on the volume of sound coming from the other side of the door. The attached video includes decibel readings before and after installation. Observed reduction of less than 10dB on the decibel meter and to the human ear, the difference is negligible at best. I recommend this product for blocking draft and light, I only recommend this product for acoustic deadening if you already have or plan to add other complementary acoustic treatments.

We have this airbnb and there is a backdoor where the door frame is totally f****ed up (it is blocked off for guests). I mean it has wood missing, you can see the light poking through on the top of hte door also. We ran out of time and this was an amazing quick fix as it also looks tidy. I assembled it in minutes, and it adheres so well to the top of the door to cover the frame gap above. It now shields from breezes and makes this troublesome door look better and stops light from coming in. I thought it would probably fall off and not stick, but man this thing works. Well worth it - we have not installed the second one on the bottom yet.

Excellent product

I was almost put off by the negative reviews such as hard to install, cheap, flimsy etc. But I took a chance and bought it anyway. I couldn't be more pleased with the product. The concept is simple - no drilling/screwing required to install it. I installed it on my screen door which had a large gap at the bottom and allowed cold air into the area between the screen door and the front door. It's adjustable for height, attaches securely and works very well to block cold air. However, I can see that it wouldn't be effective for blocking noise as some have complained. But that was not my purpose. I'm glad I took the chance with it!

Door sweep worked perfectly to stop drafts from underneath an exterior garage man door. Super easy install. Took 5 minutes or less.
