However, having a lot of electronic experience, I knew that batteries may test okay when not "under load", but, may not work in a device. Substituting a battery from another remote proved that the battery was no good. Seeking a quick fix, I looked for a replacement at a local "big box" store. They were "out of stock". So, I turned to desertcart for a replacement and purchased these. I could easily wait for delivery plus I have "desertcart Prime". As it turned out, this brand of battery is the SAME brand that was in the remote originally. So, I have some confidence that these will provide good service. I have purchased a number of "bulk" batteries from desertcart, both "brand" names and not. In each case I thought the price was very good and that the service provided was good. The price was good, and they seem work. The description says 23AE, but I got 23A batteries. Hopefully it doesn't mess anything up, especially since I have ten of them now!

Hallelujah I finally found the battery for my gate openers!
Needed these for my subdivision's gate opener clicker thingees... they're impossible to find in stores so when I found them here, in a large quantity for a very low price, I didn't hesitate to purchase. Even if these don't last very long, their price is amazing so I'm happy no matter what. It's too good to be true considering how many weeks I searched locally and had to wait outside my gate to follow someone else inside. I also have a motorcycle that isn't sufficient to trigger the gate sensor that opens the exit so I normally use the clicker to open the entrance and exit through the entrance. Clearly that isn't possible when your clicker is dead (or even just weakened since it's not the normal distance as using it to actually enter) With this multi-pack, I can replace the batteries as soon as they're too weak to open the gate from exiting on motorcycle!

They are batteries and work
Bought these for my ceiling fan remote. Correct voltage. as for longevity just changed so I can't say.

Great Value - Great Brand
Been using ‘GP’ batteries for quite a a few years now. Never had an issues and they seem to last a long time. Will continue to buy this brand whichever size batteries I required. A lot cheaper than some brands, and in my opinion do the same job.
