Spartan SBSL004BKBK Alala Fixed Full Tang Blade EDC Knife + Sheath

Not the best cutting knife, it's better for piercings. Over all knife is good, not the best sheath.

I love this knife for an every day carry! It’s well-built, not too big, not too small. The perfect weight, and it has great retention. And I love the versatile sheath. The only improvement or issue I have with it is; it does rub your skin a bit at the top of the sheath. I have to keep making sure my pants cover that hot spot. Other than that, I found the perfect every day carry fixed, blade knife.

Great knife for edc, defense, duty. Well made. It isn’t flashy but you can tell it’s quality. It is a good knife for cc. Same quality on sheath. Simple and effective knife. It was smaller than I expected but not in a bad way. Excellent ergonomics.

I returned this knife. Fit and finish were just "acceptable" and should have been better at this price point. I liked the design and feel. Came very sharp from the factory. But it feels like a $50 knife, not a $100. I hate to recommend Civivi as they're made in China, but their Elementum is a better blade for the money.

4 stars because there is no “USA” marking on the blade, only what looks to be the QC triangle marking…if this is some Taiwanese made crap then it deserves less than 4 stars. You would be better off buying directly from Spartan Blades and ensuring it’s an actual American product made by KA-BAR. Knife seems solid and well made otherwise, easy to unsheath with the thumb slide button on the sheath. Recommend replacing the cheap belt strap it comes with.

For those that don't know, Spartan Blades doesn't make these KA-BAR does and slaps the Spartan logo on it. With that comes the KA-BAR quality issues. Mine was dull as a butter knife and has a recurve on the first 2" of the blade. Needs a total reprofile. Micarta was rough cut and poorly finished. Sheath is subpar for the price versus competitors. Really wanted to give them a chance but this is bad even at $100. If I could return it I would but it was already used for testing purposes.

Nice knife but way to small to use at least for my hands. Sheath is a bit funky to use quickly. Would be great for hiking lite weight and sheath keeps knife very secure
