GE stove had burners with their own mind... it "safety assistance" button turned off at little adjustment of pots, not allowing steady heat. Because of Amazon advantage to return, ordered twice, until this one finally fits. GE was not wanting to sell compatible parts for my try; got them from Amazon for a fraction of the price.

Lighter duty than OEM element
I bought this because it is substantially cheaper than the OEM but conversely it is lighter duty than the originals that came with the stove. I think the prongs that connect the elements to the stove need to be cleaned because this element doesnโt heat up any better than the one that was in there. I bought it as a matter of comparison and I donโt expect the buy anymore.
