I mistakenly mentioned this in my review for the WEN 10" sharpener but it actually belongs here. Good set of accessories for the money. I think a necessary product improvement is to add another thumb screw to the tool rest. It has a tendency to slip and you lose your sharpening angle. The manufacturer should give it two from the get go. It comes with one in the center so I just drilled and tapped two new holes on the ends and re-tapped the center one so I could use the same thumb screw on all three. It's solid as a rock now.

I recently purchased a Tormek T4 used and it came with the Tormek hand tools set. My wife basically only agreed to buy the sharpener if I sold the set (since I really only needed a chisel sharpener anyway) and I agreed. Decided to take a shot on this cheapo replica set before selling the Tormek set to compare and send back if super poor quality in comparison. I am not sending it back. The only tool I attempted to use was the knife sharpener but it worked fantastic. The micro adjustment on the handle isn't all that different and the knob didn't come close to touching the stone when sharpening a medium sized knife at 20°. Side by side with the Tormek counterpart, the weight was basically thr same across the board except for the regular knife jig, Tormek was noticeably heavier. But I actually like the larger knob on the Wen jigs, makes them easy to grab.

My knives have never been happier! Husband always took knives in for sharpening. More often than not, our quality knives lost their edge quickly. He decided to order this kit, yes it is a wee bit costly, but you get what you pay for. No more trips to sharpen knives since this arrived, the edge is even, and long lasting. It is a unique system, with an old-fashioned look and feel. And it works! We use our knives hard as we are foodies who butcher & cook from scratch. I always receive and appreciate his warning " be careful, the knives have been sharpened."

No directions were included with my kit. The on line directions do not mention chisel jig 110.

Great alternative to the Tormek tools and jigs.

Producto muy bueno, antes afilaba mis cuchillos a mano, esta herramienta ha venido a mejorar la calidad de mis filos y hacer el trabajo más rápido y fácil. Ahora tengo mis herramientas y cuchillos filosos como navajas de afeitar. Toma cierta practica pero funciona excelente .

Nickel avec la meule Tormek. Par contre la pierre pour changer le grain de meule présente sur la photo ne fait plus partie du kit. Pas grave si vous possédez une Tormek car elle est fournie avec.

Detta paket är nästan komplett för användaren! Ett bra urval av jiggar att slipa eggverktyg. Jag använder jiggar till att slipa knivar i olika längd och storlek. Det finns absolut ingenting att klaga på!
