Does this provide storage of the bits inside the handle?

The bits are stored in each end of the shaft. The shaft pulls out of the handle and is reversed to use a different size bit. Each bit has a common and Phillips tip. One end of the shaft is 1/4 inch hex and the other is 5/16 inch hex.

what is the length of the whole screwdriver?

The screwdriver is 3 1/8" long.

Does the shaft have a magnet in it strong enough to hold the bits and a screw?

No, there is no magnet. The bits are held in with recessed balls with a spring, which holds the bits in strongly, but does not help with screws. The bits are well machined, however, so I find most screws (like computer rack screws) will sit well on the bit up to almost completely horizontal.

Is it made in the USA?

My tool purchased 01/08/16 says Made in Taiwan. The package also states "Importado por: Klein Tools De Mexico".
