Sight Remains Stable
In using this product since it became available, my sight (compromised by dry macular degeneration and monitored by an ophthamologist 4X per year) has remained about the same. The dose is 2 manageable gel caps twice a day. I can easily swallow them. They smell a bit fishy from the Omega 3 fish oils. I eat "real" food, avoiding GMO products and highly processed food-like products. I am 69 yrs old. Out of doors I wear UV protection dark glasses that fit over my regular Rx glasses. I have never smoked & have no family history of M.D. My eyechart sight test has stayed at 20/20, though I have to admit I've somehow memorized the bottom line on the chart. What would have happened had I not used this supplement is impossible to say.

Great for Dry Eye
I read that Omega-3 fatty acids would help me with my dry eye problem, so when I saw this product I decided to give it a try, after a few days I noticed I needed a lot less lubricant eye drops a day. After a week or so after I finished the bottle I found I was needing more eye drops again, so at least for me it has definitely helped with my problem, so if you have severe dry eye like me please give this a try. it's not going to hurt and could be of great help. I could not be happier with this product.

It's a good product. I really cannot say it improved my vision as my glasses are changed yearly....It's not worse.

I take it to prevent Progression of Macular Degeneration
Last year my ophthalmologist told me I have early dry Macular Degeneration. He recommended Preservision AREDS 2. I take them every day, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. I had my eyes examined last week, and there has been no progression of my MD. Only time will tell if it really works longterm, but I think it's worth it! Be sure to get the formula that is 4 capsules per day. I bought the wrong formula (2 per day) the 1st time. I have never had a problem with product freshness or fishy odor with these.

Seemed to be the best value for the price but always compare !
This is a product that the Dr recommended for my medication regime...so I know I need them in my stock! I always try to keep ahead with them as they are expensive and I don't have time to run around drug stores or supermarkets when I run out of them!
