Great product. I have a different size of this brand that is still in use. Very good quality and reliable. Also I like how it does not have any added scent on it too.

Bought to replace an old one where the cover wore and bits started coming out. New one works as well as the old one. Bag is about 12 inches long by 3.5 inches diameter. Not overfilled so can be wrapped around body where needed. I have not used it to cool so cannot comment.

I play a lot of sports and use this for muscle aches and menstrual issues. This bag works really well for heat, but doesn't retain cold as well. (For cold, I recommend frozen peas :P). This is the second bag I have bought for a friend. I still have my original from 10+ years ago. :) Highly recommended.

I absolutely love magic bags. I like having them available in different sizes they are very helpful for so many reasons. Moist heat is the best treatment in my opinion.

Being from Québec I was an instant fan & stayed a loyal one for as long as the two I purchased lasted - which was over 10 years! Yes, 10 years. Since moving to the United States I tried many imitation but none were as good as "le sac magic" so, I was thrilled to find them on Amazon. Cold or hot, headache, hot-flash, or muscle strain, this bag truly is magic with the relief it brings.

I have been using Magic Bags for over 30 years. Most have lasted 10 or more years with frequent use in the microwave. They are great as they never get cold overnight. Body temp, sure, but not cold like a water bottle. I just replaced an older bag and the new bag leaked grain. We were able to sew it up, but if you made replacement covers that could go in the microwave, I could wash the cover and leaks would be contained.

Aside from the fact that it’s a simple and excellent hot or cold compress (whichever you need for the occasion), the sac magique offers one thing that puts it above all others: because the filling is some kind of grain, it has the subtle and very pleasing smell of slightly toasty fresh bread when hot. I heat it in the microwave — about 35 seconds at a time, repeated 3–4 times — until it reaches my ideal temperature. The warmth feels deep and soothing, and it helps me loosen up those tight muscles without needing anything bulky or noisy. I’ve also had an electric heat pad before, but I never felt safe using it while sleeping. With the Magic Bag, I can comfortably lie down and rest with it on, which makes a big difference for me. Bought these several times now. Our family used heat pads daily. They last forever as long as you don’t burn the beans inside. We do 3 min max but that is hot. It last long and there isn’t any smell. We ended up getting rid of the cover because we didn’t like it. Nothing wrong with it just preference. The bag moles nice to your body and comfortable. Great for pain or just relaxing. Good value for the quality.
