Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil, Gentle Makeup Remover with Rosehip Oil and Vitamin C, 6.5 Ounce

I was first introduced to cleansing oil via a sample of DHC. When that was gone, I switched to this Palmer’s. I find it works just as well. This recent bottle will be my second. I find that it does a great job as a co-wash to break down all of the day’s layers of cosmetics (EXCEPT waterproof mascara). The pump mechanism dispenses the perfect amount. It’s easily smoothed over the face and neck. The majority of it rinses off fairly easily, and washes off completely with a follow-up face wash. The smell is light and pleasant and doesn’t linger. I have experienced NO irritation, clogged pores, breakouts, or burning using this. As I only use this when I’m washing-off makeup, the bottle lasts seemingly forever. After a couple/few years, because it is an oil, it DOES have a tendency to smell rancid. (Not faulting Palmer’s product, as they all get skunky after a while). A good value (price & performance)…Recommend.

I have tried a lot of oil cleansers in the past and hands down, this is my favorite. Bonus that it is also the cheapest. Total workhorse and about half the price of the the fancy name brand oil cleansers in pretty bottles. It is silky smooth, gets off all make up, sunscreen and false eyelash glue in one go (but doesn’t sting the eyes). Washes off cleanly, leaving my skin smooth, but not oily. Moisturizes well, non-greasy. I have acne prone skin and this doesn’t break me out at all. I have bought this several times and is the standard that I hold all oil cleansers to. Can’t rave about it enough.

I believe no matter your skin type this is gentle enough for everyone! It's helped with the texture of my skin and helped to pull excess oils and dirt out of my pores. I tried it on a whim a few months ago and I love it ☺️ make sure that you either put some water on your face first, or after you've applied the oil add some water to it and gently massage your face and areas you typically have blackheads or pimples! It's super gentle yet effective on any pimples I do get but it also seems to keep them away. I'm 32 and only occasionally get acne but I know everyone's skin and system is different, I also tend to get redness on my cheeks but this has soothed it. My skin is typically a mix between dry and oily and this cleanser keeps it moisturized without making me oily. The scent is very pretty too but it doesn't irritate my skin. If you're debating trying it, I say go for it!

This product works amazingly well at removing makeup while preventing that tight feeling skin can get from regular cleansing. I would have given it 5 stars, but they put fragrance in it. I love perfume and scented lotions, but I never want fragrance in the skincare that I use on my face. Also, it implies that you can use this to remove makeup from your eyes, but I don’t recommend it. Anyway, it’s a great product that could be better without the scent.

I switched to this after using a traditional foaming face wash that was starting to leave my skin feeling tight, and I honestly didn’t expect to like an oil cleanser as much as I do. I was worried it would feel greasy or leave a residue, but it doesn’t at all. It rinses off really clean with warm water and my skin just feels soft—not stripped. One of the biggest things for me is how well it removes makeup. I use tubing mascara, and this breaks it down so easily that it just slides off my lashes without me having to rub at all and cause damage to my lashes, which I really appreciate. It also has a light scent from the rosehip that makes it feel a little more elevated without being overpowering. I like that it doesn’t have parabens or mineral oil. Even though it’s marketed for the face, I’ve actually used it on my body as well and it works just as nicely. Only small thing is that if you’re used to a foaming cleanser, it takes a couple uses to adjust to the texture—but once you do, it’s hard to go back.

Thanks to Nina Pool I've been influenced I'm starting to double cleanse my mature skin and Palmer's is a great product to use its moisturizing but doesn't leave an oily residue. If you're looking for a fragrance free product then this might be too heavy for you, personally I love the floral scent It's at a great price point and I do plan to purchase again.

I bought Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Skin Therapy Oil because my skin gets really dry, and it has made a huge difference. It keeps my skin moisturized all day and leaves it feeling soft and smooth instead of tight or flaky. I like that it’s lightweight for an oil—it doesn’t feel heavy or overly greasy, especially if I apply it right after a shower.

I tried to like it, but it's the scent that ruins it for me. I've discovered I prefer just using palmers body oil instead of this stuff. As much as it is a cleanser versus the body oil, this stuff leaves more of an oily residue than the body oil and, again, the rose smell is just a personal thing, but i do not like it. I will also admit my bottle did leak during shipment, but that really wasnt a big deal to me as much wasnt lost, but that may be something that you may want to consider as not everyone has that issue apparently. Overall I just don't think this product is THE best of palmers.. I think palmers has better products and I think there are better cleansing oils out there than this.

Durante minha gestação usei o óleo e hidrante dessa marca e simplesmente amei! Achei que o óleo de limpeza me entregaria tanto quanto, mas me decepcionei um pouco! Não é ruim, de jeito nenhum. Cumpre a função. Mas não atendeu minha expectativa.

I received this for the first time and used it immediately that night before going to bed. Spread 2 pumps on dry skin and gently massage in. Then add water a little bit only and keep massaging all over, including eye area. This oil has a beautiful, mild scent, it melts into the skin and removes every speck of makeup, including eye makeup and mascara without any rubbing and pressure. After rinsing it off with lukewarm water, it leaves the skin fully moisturized, soft and supple. It is a good size bottle and it will last for many months, Love it, will re-order and highly recommend it. I only use organic oils for my face, neck and decollate. I think for me creams are old fashioned.

The texture of this cleansing oil is very light and it cleans very well. It does not leave your skin feeling oily

Tengo 2 semanas usando este desmaquillante en aceite y me ha funcionado súper bien. Tengo piel mixta y, a diferencia de antes cuando usaba toallitas (que me irritaban y no retiraban bien el rímel), este aceite lo elimina rapidísimo y sin necesidad de frotar. No irrita nada la piel y al masajearlo se siente muy suave. Además, deja la piel hidratada después de usarlo. Aun así, yo complemento con un limpiador en gel para retirar cualquier residuo, y mi piel queda limpia, hidratada y sin esa sensación tirante que me dejaban las toallitas. Definitivamente lo recomiendo. También me parece que tiene muy buena relación calidad-cantidad-precio en comparación con otros productos. ✨

I purchased this to oil cleanse with a silicone face brush and oh my lanta I was not expecting it to have such an effect on the redness that plagues my skin! Despite all the scrubbing my skin was the least inflamed it’s ever been in just ONE use (I’m assuming it’s the rosehip oil?). My only wish is that it wasn’t so heavily fragranced.
