What should have looked like the start of yet another series about monsters of all kinds (which it was at the start) turned into a quest for a demon who is the cause of the Winchester family's misfortune. We tend to praise (rightly) the performance of the two main protagonists Sam & Dean. But we must not forget their mentor and informant Bobby (Jim Beaver). Without forgetting the powerful help of the angel Castiel played impeccably by Misha Collins. And what about Crowley (Mark Sheppard), an enigmatic demon, who must still be wary of, despite his friendly appearance? In short, fifteen seasons that we never tire of. But all good (or bad) things inevitably comes to an end.

Still going strong. On offer? The usual mixture of the intense and downright nasty - many heads will roll, literally. Takeover bids occur in Heaven and Hell, and of course on Earth itself. Welcome relief from such grim matters come surprisingly moving episodes (as in the show's 300th). Then there are the light-hearted sequences, the series never afraid to poke fun at itself - as when one character declares, "Nobody stays dead anymore." (Is there anyone in the show who has not been dead and back?) This time round all are returned from the alternative universe, complete with the brothers' mum (she alive again). Possession is now a dominant feature. Dean for a while is taken over by disgraced archangel Michael, he at such times in "Peaky Blinders" mode. Nick and Jack are other occasionally possessed souls. Although representing a danger to the world, their circumstances are fundamentally tragic. Mark Pellegrino and Alexander Calvert both successfully portray the menace, yet create sympathy for their plight. Must they really be destroyed to save the rest of us? Even devotees may differ over whether the portayal of God works, this arguably an ill-conceived ploy that unnecessarily cheapens. In contrast, surely no one can doubt here one of the best cliffhangers ever, a truly horrific whetting of appetite for the final season. Stalwarts Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins are impressively among those helping it all to work, guaranteeing so much to thrill, shock and amuse.

Fast delievery and the DVD arrives in mint condition. Enjoyed the season !

La saison 14 de Supernatural a vraiment su captiver les fans avec son mélange d'émotion, d'action et d'humour. Les personnages, en particulier Sam et Dean, continuent d'évoluer de manière fascinante, et leur dynamique fraternelle est plus forte que jamais. Les intrigues sont bien ficelées, avec des épisodes qui explorent des thèmes profonds tout en restant divertissants. De plus, l'introduction de nouveaux personnages et le retour de visages familiers apportent une fraîcheur à la série, tout en rendant hommage à son riche héritage. Les effets spéciaux et la production sont également à la hauteur, rendant les scènes d'action encore plus palpitantes. En somme, la saison 14 est un excellent ajout à la série, offrant à la fois des moments poignants et des séquences palpitantes qui raviront les fans de longue date comme les nouveaux venus. C'est une saison qui rappelle pourquoi Supernatural a su captiver tant de spectateurs au fil des ans !

J’adore cette série mais même usagée, en français, elle est RIDICULEMENT TROP CHÈRE!!! En plus j’ai eu des frais de douanes de plus de 30% à payer!! Pourtant j'ai acheté de UK, et non des USA!
