Simply stated, this is an excellent buy and a quality product.
When we purchase an item online, we shop carefully and make sure to read all the reviews and Q&As for the product. This YAHEETECH Lift Top Coffee Table meets all the positive reviews: it is an attractive and solid piece of furniture that arrived in perfect condition and assembled easily and accurately. We are well pleased. To address the negative reviews, our first recommendation is to view the video on the Amazon site that takes you step-by-step through the assembly process. It is worth 4:30 of your time even if you are experienced at furniture assembly. Because almost all the parts are symmetrical, there is little chance of error except possibly swapping the legs or flipping the compartment sides resulting in misfits and leaving the impression that holes are drilled incorrectly. Watching the video and following the instruction pages in the correct order (they are stapled strangely) should prevent this. Not only were there no missing parts but there were also extras for all the fasteners and dowels plus all parts were packaged and labeled clearly. There are two sizes of cam locks that do need to be kept separate. We did find installing the springs on the lift brackets a challenge but using a small pair of pliers to hold the end of the spring rather the loop allowed us to place the loop over the peg easily. When working with small screws we find it easier to rub them on a cake of soap to lubricate them and to install them in the pre-drilled holes and then to remove them prior to installing the final parts. Also, when installing the lift top, it is quite easy to install one screw in each bracket at the top at the nearer end. This process then makes it simple to pivot the bracket up by lifting the top and to place a screw in the other end at the bottom; the other six screws in each bracket then go in easily and the table is completed. Our downsides are minor; the label on the side is difficult to remove, and there is a lot of foam packing material that creates a disposal issue. We were a little nervous about the low price and did a lot of comparison shopping. Simply stated, this is an excellent buy and a quality product.

Not the highest quality but looks and works great for the money.
Just FYI… I added the baskets we had from an old coffee table in the cubbies and they really add to the look! You could probably find some on Amazon or Home Goods that would fit. It came with all the parts and I put it together myself and just needed my husbands help to flip it over at certain points in the assembly and hold the top while I screwed it onto the base. I used a power screwdriver and used wood glue for added stability. It seems very sturdy and the top is kind of heavy and you definitely need to use two hands to lift. You want to pull both sides up evenly so it doesn’t wobble while it’s opening because I think over time the screws holding it on will pull out of the particle board if it does. I also wish they had included those stickers that match the finish to cover the exposed screws. They are visible in the cubbies if you don’t cover them with a basket (see video). I bought this because we wanted to change our dining area into a seating area in front of the fireplace in the winter months. Because it wouldn’t be out all year, I didn’t want to pay a ton or get anything so heavy we couldn’t carry it downstairs for storage in the summer and this works great! Looks good in the room but it’s obvious up close that it’s not real wood but a textured finish meant to look like wood but not a bad imitation. Nice grey color. Would recommend! It also makes a cozy place for a cat nap!

Great Value for the Price
I was switching from a large IKEA coffee table. I wanted to upgrade to something a little bit nicer, but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an already assembled table made of nicer wood. This table is a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be. The board doesn't feel like the cheap particle board you get from IKEA furniture. It seems better (though I don't know if it actually is). I bought the gray colored table and it also looks really nice. The table has heft to it and doesn't feel cheap. The riser portion also does a decent job as long as you're expecting a $100ish dollar table. Assembly was not terrible. Though they use those annoying IKEA like screws that are like dials. Because of this, I have some little gaps in the table (nothing major) but those screws are annoying. Also, the table does wobble if you don't pull it from the middle. Not a huge deal when you pay what you pay for the table. Lastly, this table is pretty difficult to assemble with one person. Once you start putting the brackets onto the table to get it to lift, it becomes incredibly hard. Overall the table is great. Way better than I thought. Assembly is a little difficult by yourself but not impossible. Would buy this again if on a budget.

Awesome table!!!
Best purchase I’ve made!!! Perfect storage compartments for my cooking needs due to not having a kitchen and cooking with a hot plate.

Still Holding up in 2026
This has been one of my best purchases from back in 2021. It has survived moving twice and is still holding up well. The only thing age has done to it is that the bottom shelf has tried to pull apart and I hammer it back in a little bit. It was easy to put together but took a while and I highly suggest having a friend help. The desk is very sturdy so do not run into it, it will hurt a lot. I also only open the table just to get items inside. It is too wobbly when extended to use as a desk.

Small, but sturdy.
It’s smaller than I’d anticipated, but perfect for a smaller space. The instructions were easy to follow and assembly took me about half a day (with distractions). Plenty of storage, and the lift too is perfect for eating, working, coloring, whatever you choose. It is also surprisingly sturdy; kinda heavy and awkward to move, which isn’t a bad thing. Even with the lift top up it stays firmly planted. The lift top is also easy to raise and lower. All in all I’m happy with it and was a good buy for the money.

Pros and cons
Pros: Quality top notch. instructions crystal clear. Perfect Wood Finish. Plenty of storage. Cons: when lifting it can be wobbly so you have to use two hands. I would like a smoother operation. But would I buy it again. Hell yes

Very nice table
It took about 2-3 hrs to put this together. It was pretty straight forward if you're familiar with putting this type of furniture together. It was timely screwing everything in and placing dowels. The weird part is at the end trying to screw in the top of the table to bottom by the brackets that lift the table top. The instructions recommend two people for this step.I managed to do it myself by balancing the top on other furniture and holding it up a little. I would say that was the hardest part of assembly. The final product is sturdy and looks nice. When you lift the table top you have to lift evenly with two hands it can go up a little wonky but when in place it's fine. I believe this is because the two mechanisms are singular and do not function in unison. Overall I believe this table is a good purchase. The savings here is earned in a little elbow grease.

Beautiful table
Single mom so there’s only me to put it together and I procrastinated on putting it together for about 3 months because I’m usually in pain and some days my focus just isn’t there. It was relatively easy to assemble on my own. The hardest part was the last steps of putting the hinges on the top of the table and the sides. Would have been easier to have an extra person to hold the top of the table while screwing the hinges into the inner sides of the table. It took me about 2.5 hours to put it together so it would definitely take less time with two people. But everything fit properly and perfectly. There were no defective parts or missing parts. The wood is a very nice quality and the storage inside is definitely a bonus. Very happy with my purchase.

Great quality, easy to build because of good parts
We are used to Ikea furniture and this is definitely a step up. Sturdy and looks very good assembled. Quite heavy to carry around and it looks like it's made from good-quality materials. During the assembly, we found the parts and drilled holes well aligned and relatively easy to assemble. The last step of putting the top part on was quite difficult, but we managed after some thinking. In the end it wasn't that hard to do, once we figured it out. My one suggestion would be to have better instructions for the last step.
