I have never done gel nails at home before but my traditional nail polish was fast to chip and I wanted something more long lasting. Getting them done at the salon is really expensive, around 40 bucks plus tip. Even once a month that's over 500 bucks a year! Imagine what else you could do with that money! It's nice and relaxing to get your nails and cuticles cleaned up and looking top notch but really, if I can save the money I'll figure out how to do it myself. I picked the most affordable lamp (with positive reviews) I could find in case this was a botched attempt at DIY. I looked at sets with UV lamp, color, base and top coat but decided for 30 bucks, I could get everything I needed including cuticle remover, acetone and those clips to remove the gel later. I picked up 3 colors I wanted elsewhere. None of the sets had the one color I wanted so why have 8 meh colors. I watched some youtube and googled when I was unsure of something. My beetles base and top coat recommended 90 second cure and this goes off after 60 seconds - you can use your phone stopwatch for the last 30 seconds. I can only fit four fingers under this and have to do my thumb separately. I don't plan to do my toes. This is a fantastic small size, east to store or take when traveling. It worked BEAUTIFULLY. I was shook. I was really surprised at how great my first attempt at gel nails turned out. This was the perfect curing lamp for a beginner to see if they like doing their own gel nails. 10/10 would recommend.

I got the smaller version of this lamp and it is perfect for me! I had no issues with the lamp curing my gel nails. It is small and so I can’t fit all my nails under when it’s set up but I usually hold it over my nails. It automatically turns off, which is nice, no timer needed. It only works when plugged in but it uses a pretty universal connection which means I was able to swap it for a longer cable I already owned.

I love this lamp!! It’s super travel friendly and lightweight and works really well! I’m always moving around, and can’t always carry a bulky lamp. My only issue with this is that you can’t fit all 5 fingers at once but it’s not that much of an adjustment. And this might just be mine but my lamp takes about 2 presses for it to turn on for the full 90 seconds.

Really small you can only do a few fingers at a Time and you can cure a lot longer then you would on a bigger lamp. But small and good for traveling did you don’t want to bring a huge lamp

I recently started doing my own gel nails at home as I didn't want to spend a fortune at salons. I got a kit polish and needed something to test the waters and dint know what to expect as it is so cheap! But WOW am I amazed It's very small and compact so perfect for traveling, the light is strong and I had no issues with curing the polish!!

This light is literally as big as a computer mouse. You have to run it sooooo many times just for the material to dry. While it works (after 20+ drying cycles), it's not worth the hassle and I ended up buying a normal sized UV lamp.

This little guy is fantastic. When I received it and the whole thing in the palm of my hand, I was surprised. I knew it was small but I didn't realize how small. It's fantastic. Great for quick repair, and for those of us who like designing our nail art. You can probably put four fingers at a time and it uncomfortably. But when you're working on something special on a nail paint glitter glue whatever and needed UV light just for one finger One nail period this is more than great you'll love it. I say that from someone who's trying to learn how to do nails. This is especially great for us.

Very surprised at all the good reviews. I bought this (the small one...be careful, reviews are showing different models and sizes) because of the quarantine. I need my nails done. Yet I’ve never done it before. So I bought 3 different kits. And this UV lamp. Regular lamps take just 60-90 seconds. I used this one for 20 minutes straight and the gel polish (I was using on the gel dipped nail) STILL hadn’t dried.Save your money. Splurge and get a good one.EDIT: 24 hours later...it STILL wasn’t dry and the polish was bumpy and already peeling. It was horrible and wasted 3hrs. I had to remove it tonight after buying a $13 (!!!) lamp at Walmart (since Sally’s etc is closed). The $13 Walmart one worked sooo much better!

Love this little UV lamp, it's perfect for me, especially since it's my first time using a UV lamp. It's super tiny, but I like that it's small because I can store it easily in my drawer with my other nail stuff. On the box it says "Mouse Nail Lamp" which is accurate because it's about the size of a standard mouse (the mouse I have shown in the pic is a slightly smaller than average mouse).I also bought some UV gel polish from a company called "Meet Across" and I cured it for 60 seconds each coat (base coat, first coat, second coat, top coat) and it cured it perfectly. There was no stickiness or anything.I also plan on using this lamp to cure UV resin for a craft project I'm working on (coating shrink plastic with UV resin so it will last longer). So I can't wait to test that out.

This nail lamp is the perfect size. Works really well and is self timing. Love it.

Mini size. Handy. Good for small size projects. Wire is short though.

Great little light for gel polish. It really does the job and great that it’s portable
