This cookie baking book completely leveled up my baking game. Whether you're brand new to baking or have been at it for years, this book makes it easy to turn out delicious, bakery-worthy cookies every single time. What I love most is how clear and approachable the recipes are. The instructions are easy to follow, and each recipe includes helpful tips that actually make a difference (like how long to chill the dough or when to pull cookies out for that perfect chewy texture). There’s a great mix of classics — like chocolate chip and snickerdoodles — plus some creative twists I hadn’t tried before (the brown butter espresso cookies were a HUGE hit in my house). Every recipe I’ve tried so far has turned out perfectly, which honestly doesn’t happen often with baking books.

I have fallen in love with this little cookie cook book. I originally purchased it for my son’s girlfriend as a gift, but was so impressed with the variety of recipes while flipping through it, I decided to get one for my own collection as well. Once I actually started baking, any of the expectations I had were blown out of the water. These recipes are so finely tuned and well tested, everything you bake comes out picture perfect and devine. While some recipes might require extra steps, none of them are actually difficult or too time consuming, the doughs are easy to work with, the equipment and ingredients necessary are basic or easy to acquire. Whether you’re new to baking or a seasoned vet in kitchen, there is something in this cookbook for you. The recipes range from classics to sophisticated flavors with a twist as well as a variety of accoutrements and fillings to couple with your cookies. I highly recommend this book and imagine I will be back in the future to purchase more as gifts in the future.

I learned about the 100 Cookies Baking Book from a book club and it a fun book to bake through. There are 8 Chapters in the book - The Classics, Brownies + Blondies, Fruit Extravaganza, The Next Level, Time To Play, Pan-Banging Cookies, Mix + Match and Extras. Most of the recipes have an accompanying photo to entice the user to give the recipe a try. I liked that there are familiar recipes (Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodles) but also recipes that make me think of a bakery like Creme Brûlée Cheesecake Bars and Sables. Author Sarah Kieffer provides clear and easy to follow instructions. The ingredients are easy to find at the local grocery store or on Amazon. There is also page at the back of the book that provides a variety of resources to source ingredients/tools. I have tried two recipes, Neapolitan Cookies and Cream Cheese Brownies and had fantastic results! The only hard part is trying to limit how many cookies I make so I still fit my clothes! 100 Cookies Baking Book is wonderful book to add to your collection. I highly recommend it!

Fabulous cookbook! Great explanation of baking terms and thorough, easy directions. Wish I'd had this years ago. Would make a wonderful bridal shower gift!

Bought this as a gift and considered keeping it. There were so many fun recipes and I loved that there were pictures for nearly every one. It’s always so helpful to see a picture of the finished product. The reason for the loss of one star has more to do with Amazon shipping and nothing to do with the actual book. It arrived a little dirty looking. It was a bummer because it was a gift.

Great book. A lot of attention was put into the readability, and simplicity of the recipes. Already made two recipes so far, and they both came out great!

I come from a long long line of bakers. We have family recipes that date way way back and even more skills that have been passed generations down. I got this for my mom for Christmas (after wanting it myself 😂) and it’s the best gift I’ve ever given myself. lol my mom has made 4 of them already and each one is an absolute hit. The Neapolitan cookies on the cover quickly were named my husbands all time favorite cookie. There are so many more I want to try. Like 96 more. I may have to buy another copy for myself or may venture out to the 100 Morning Treats book. Don’t let this sit in your wishlist for years - just buy it!

I cannot say enough good things about this book! I spent a few weeks contemplating whether I really needed another baking book, but I broke down after trying several free recipes in her blog; her Neapolitan Shortbread is next level and the best cookie batter I’ve ever tasted. Take my word for it that I glimpsed heaven. As an expat raising kiddos in Europe, I really appreciate having this bible of good ol’ American cookies and glad I bought it. I find her sugar to be just right for anyone who predates “Crumbl”, although you could take it down a bit more based on personal preference. I’ve uploaded the Table of Contents since that’s what I really wanted to know before purchasing. I had found the contents of 1-4 elsewhere on the internet and was delighted upon delivery to see there were 3 more chapters of yummy recipes, including the listed-after neopolitan cookies! All this to say, you won’t regret this purchase.
